I'm curious to see the future of UNIGINE it's catching up to the industry leading engines available. The only thing left is virtualized geometry, virtual textures, and Data Oriented Programming.

What programming languages work with this?
Edit - I just saw C++ and C# (my language of choice). I much prefer C# over Python many apps force me to use.

what is the reason you decided to choose this engine?
@@dimmArtist I love coding and this engine had what i needed, Unity had the coding aspect but it was overbloated while Unreal had the C++ i wanted but it had its API very unique from traditional C++ Code. This engine just combined the C++/C# Aspect and its API is like a component that you pick and add into the code and build. Also the Documentation is very smooth to read, lookup and understand. In terms of Art it has the basic building blocks to making a world generation and has everything i needed for a "AAA" Demo Game i was thinking of making so thats why i chose this engine!

Your guy's engine is coming along really really nicely over the years I've been following ya'll. Seeing your engine evolve as well as another youtuber's doing his own engine. I've been using Unity about 10+ years... I didn't see like this features. Unigine very similar looking especially gets everything and done better from Unity. Features comes really fast and stable / accurate. I want to change from Unity to Unigine because I'm really tired of waiting good and working well tools.

Жалко, что версия 2.17 вышла только сейчас - тот же Atomic Heart шикарно бы смотрелся на этом движке.

damn...there are a lot of helpful tools in there....things a lot of others ignore(unity/UE)....this looks fantastic....plus some eye candy as well....but the usability and optimization features for textures etc, blew me away....I'm going to look deeper into this.

Very nice engine. I'm thinking, if this engine is as good as it is, I haven't seen a super famous AAA game made in it. I don't understand why Atomic Heart used Unreal. The Russians could really make their engine famous.

The moment this engine supports crossplatform (to consoles as well) it will be a huge deal breaker .. much love to Unigine Team
It already works on Windows, Linux, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The console versions are for internal use for now, later they will be available for wider audience.

Hey Unigine, I've been a LONG time supporter and spreader of the word that is Unigine to many people but the #1 hang up me and many others have is the extremely old particle system that can't do half of what Niagara can none the less having any sort of physical rigid body RBD particles at all, just wish the best for this software and really hoping a particle update comes soon!

Hadn't heard of this engine before. Glad TH-cam recommended it. The rendering looks so sharp and the lighting is definitely next-gen level. Very awesome features, and a lot of great tools for productivity.

Underrated Engine
I am not generally the target demographic for these types of technologies, but from my perspective this engine can only be described as staggering. This looks incredible, and it is exciting to see a new competitor to big names like Unreal. The potential for this is massive, and I'm excited for the day I'll be able to say I was here before the engine was huge. Will there be any AI integration in the future (in whatever form that may imply, like generative textures or a GitHub co-pilot equivalent)? Cheers!

@@UNIGINE_Official Although quick tip for you guys, please reconsider offline mode for the community package. I also have Unreal Engine 5 installed in my system. If I were to create a serious project, me personally I would opt for Unreal because if internet goes, I can still create. With you software I cant. Unreal Engine has all the bells and whistles you guys have, I also have blender which works offline too. The reason I came across this engine and got interested in using it, is because it's something new and I would like to try and of course is made by a Russian team. I also have Houdini but I don't use much.

Honestly, very impressive. Your videos scream at me "All of this Just Works™and is fast" which is literaly the best attitude one could have if you're looking to expand into gamedev. I hope you'll keep this attitude for tools that aren't graphics, like animation system, while also hopefully keeping hackable APIs (like Unity did in the past, not so much now) so that users could implement any behaviour on top of engine provided one.
Also about your GI solution. Is it like screenspace GI because you have a cubemap with stored depth and raytrace it in cubemap space? Which is how it works when you don't necesserily look at the lights
Thanks, this is the exact attitude we have towards our product: it's cool, it has a lot of features, they work and they work fast and our team works hard to make it all happen.
This time it's not screen space, it's panoramic as if you were inside a spherical or box-shaped room, the probe provides imitation of reflections that are rendered taking the geometry of surfaces around.

I'm surprised you guys don't have a way for Unity developers to transfer / convert their assets into Unigine, reason being that Unity's market place is extremely big. That size of a market place in Unigine would definitely be a boon. Perhaps in the future.

The assets in unreal engine is amazing, and obviously alot of it is owned by epic (megascans etc) but they CAN be used in other engines, but then you might need to pay for them..
Awesome work guys, when can we expected an updated unigine benchmark tool? Curious about the flight sim footage. Is that msfs2024 ? Or x-Plane 12 or some other flight sim we haven't even heard of yet?

Hi guys. 3 questions. 1 is there a state machine system for character complex animations. 2 how optimized is the engine on 3years old mobiles. 3 do you have touch inputs ? If so. Focus on video games more than military simulations. It’s now or never.

Quick question: is there a way to use both dx9 and dx12, maybe even not in the same executable, but for example, if I want share my client with guy, who has old graphics card but we are wanted to play together!
@@aleksandrrush4076 DX9 is not supported, but you can launch the project in DX11 or DX12 modes.

I really like the very good looking sky, weather and water out of the box, but everything still looks like a game that's a few years old, compared to Unreal's near photo realism...
Thank you for the comment! Photorealism is definitely our goal as UNIGINE Engine is often used for creating simulators where it's crucial for gaining required skills.
