First time riding Spa Francorchamps since 2018 and first time ever with the ZX-10R. It is such a fun and fast track and needs some time to get fast on! Of course I had bad luck with the weather again :) It was really wet and some parts of the track are a little bit scary in these conditions. I saw the fuel light in the last lap, but due to being on a fast lap, I wanted to finish it. Didn't think I will run out of fuel that fast :D Enjoy the short wet onboard! Cheers!
It rained at Phillip Island when I was there on a track day and i had the entire circuit to myself for 40 minutes. A couple of sphinchter tightening moments but a great memory.
For me the long right turn near the end of the lap was the scariest part. Accelerating as much as possible in lean angle up to GPS 230 kmh with not enough run off area at the end, that was scary!
Awesome job done my friend.....nice fast laps 🙌🏼😎💥 Epic speed information in kmh / mph plus lean angle , throttle & brake data.....you ticked every box brother....job well done 🙌🏼😜👍🏻
I am the happy owner of a 636 Ninja with some track experience, and honestly, under those conditions, I would put my foot down in every single turn, even at 50 km/h on the corner behind my house... Congratulations! It really takes skill, expertise, and courage to understand the limits of grip in such extreme situations.
Hi felow 636 rider...after long time (last time in 2020) I ran on wets, and fell twice on loosing a front. First time at Le Mans, it was my second wet session, full of confidence. Still looking at my vid trying to figure out what went wrong and don't get it besides suspension. The second time I just got into track, made one turn and on braking on the seccond turn.. apparently to much brake presse... . I felt it was not that hard brakin and I thought my bike was straight. Lost a bit of confidence and not sure whether I will ride again when it rains.
@@CyberGasty I ride sport bikes since 20 years and I still feel like wet ground is just... unpredictable. There's nothing warning you when are reaching the limit.
@@CyberGasty Make sure you run the right tire pressure when coming in after the sessions. Open 2 clicks both compressions and rebound and 2 turns preload. Ride as smooth as possible. That works for me. The grip also depends on how much water is on the track. Start with cold tires and take 2 laps to warm the tires up. They will feel better after warming up 2 laps. That works for me :)
Amazing how fast you can go in wet conditions 😲 Well done guys. Today I got 3 hours on twisty roads, high speed, on my Tuono v4 factory. Unbelievable fun 👍🤙
😮 o like that track, one of my favorites, but only gaming 😢 Maybe sometime in real and with bike not car 😊 Well im driving sometimes in rain too, im driving over 20 years, but since 5 6 years we have more days raining and so i must drive more in rain. I never searched out how fast i can go, was never needed, ok it is never a need for it 😅 Today i try more and more and go faster and faster and feel savety. It is crazy how much grip we have. The point was at watching moto gp and they had have much raining at race. Sure they drove fast like dry track, awsome. I lose more and more fear in a good way. Biker for life, life for biking ❤🏍❤👊 Greetings to all bikers from chopper to racebike
Yes I was there the next day, but could not ride the last session due to broken dashboard. But 2 full dry sessions were fun and I have to visit this track again to get faster on it :) Also did one onboard the second day (Y)
Let's clear one thing up. You are not leaning a bike over 50 degree in the rain. The lean angle sensor is probably on your body position as opposed to the bike. So stop trying to fool everyone with your bullshit telemetry

I'd be shitting bricks doin those speeds up Eau Rouge in a car on dry tarmac, let alone on a bike in the wet! Murtanio, You absolute beast!

@@Murtanio Oh yeah, that one's sketchy too, especially in the wet.

It’s crazy 9 years ago you rode your first 1000cc, now you race them lol that’s wild and I love it! 💪🏾
funny that you remember :)
Hugh respect for you guys. I would have highsided myself an longtime ago, on Bridgestone street tires.
rain tires are different ;)

That's definitely sketchy.... Big salute to you Murtanio for the footage..

Truly inspiring to still sit on a bike with balls that size
The coolness and skill we should all have

I would have shat my pants at Raidillon..
Hey, quick question. Why does it seem you are following the racing line in the wet? In cars you would want to avoid braking on it, as it is slipper
On bikes it is totally fine to do that. You should avoid it when there were truck races before. They leave too much rubber on the track.
Looks like good grip level for wet conditions...can you confirm ?
yes grip was good!
Hope you stayed to ride in the dry the next day! Wish I had known, would have loved to say hi in person
