Jolene, I am a fresh flute professor, and I just wanted to tell you how immensely HELPFUL your tone priority PDF is. There are SO many elements that go into producing a beautiful sound, and it is really nice to have a visual to hand out to my students. THANK YOU!

Great Video! Some of your breathing techniques and articulation tips remind me of my college band director ( who’s well known in the Trumpet world). He used similar techniques for breathing and articulation

Very helpful! I'm a nurse, so I don't know why I never thought of looking up that muscle anatomy, but relaxing that ear area = instant improvement in quick tonguing.. (sp?) tnx..

Tongue attack is along the back of the upper row of teeth, yes? When you speak of the continuous stream of air (support), I think of the tongue ‘attack’ as a release of air (‘pulling’ the tongue away from a ‘stop/close’ position. The problem I have is the rear of my tongue is shaped such that I get some buzz from the tongue itself; any thoughts?

Just a quick question; what material is your lefreque, and how big of a change did you notice in your sound and your playing when you started playing with it? I really want to try one out but I have no way of doing so without actually buying one, so I’m depending on other people’s opinions to make my decision.
