I always wanted to go to the mall of America since I was a kid growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s. I remember seeing it on tv specials and thinking it looked so cool. Your video makes me think it might be time to take a road trip over there. It’s about 20 hours from us, the same distance as Orlando.

I remember this place being built back in 1990 and hearing about it being opened and always wanted to visit there. It was built to be so large to provide a refuge from the brutal Minnesota winters. People in Minnesota are said to be very friendly, which makes coping with the winters better. Minnesota Nice and Minnesota Ice.

Are you unaware of the aquarium that was in the basement? Seems like a thing you'd bring up.
There used to be a real nice, big aquarium there. It was cool! It had those glass tubes that went through the aquarium...and sharks and gige turtles!
Even an awesome outside area, like a proper aquarium would, with a interactive shore and tide part. They didn't half step it at all!

Carlo's was the bakery where Cake Boss was filmed... Carlo was the owner (family business started by his father) EDIT: Not surprised the coffee wasn't good... so many have said his bakery was more hype than taste.

    • @Caderic

The business wasn't started by his father, it was started by Carlo Guastaferro in 1910. It was purchased by Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Sr., in 1964, and is now owned and operated by Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Jr., (a.k.a. Cake Boss).
And yeah, I have had cake from the MOA location, and it was very "meh", and over prices.

I saw a show with a Hulk Hogan interview, and he said that he had been approached by a company wanting to name their new grill after him. He said he declined because he was probably going to sign with a different company so they could use his name for their meatball making machine. The meatball machine flopped, and the grill company ended up signing their second choice, George Foreman, who made a fortune with it. 😂

I really enjoyed the theming and rides with the famous Charlie Brown piano music playing throughout the park. Nickelodeon has squeezed more attractions into the tight space, but I liked it better as Camp Snoopy. I had heard the Log Flume had closed for good, but I'm delighted to see it's still operating. Thanks for visiting this amazing icon Adam. You Rock.

People flying by in golf carts and you think they are going to crash into a wall but then the wall flys up in the sky to let the cart through. Huge dumpsters on liquor bottles separated by color. It's like a little city

Pastamania is when Hulk was in WCW not WWF/WWE in 1995 . Hulk & Eric Bischoff (pres of WCW ) made a deal with MOA for him to have restaurant in dealing with having the First Monday Nitro event in September of 1995 . Monday Nitro was the head to head tv show to go against Vince McMahon's Monday Night Raw called the Monday Night Wars (WCW vs WWF/WWE) . Which lead to the attitude era (stone cold, the rock, DX, etc) and later on Vince McMahon bought WCW for $5M ( $100M+ dollar company for $5M) what a deal!

I'm not an expert in many things my friend, but, there is very little I've not learned about Knott's Berry Farm, my absolute favorite non Disney park. The Log Ride at Knott's was built by the now defunct company "Arrow Development" the chute ride you're enjoying today. formerly known as Paul Bunyan's Log Chute, was in fact built by Hopkins Rides. Fun fact for a man obsessed with Hollywood tie ins, John Wayne and his young son Ethan were first to ride Knott's famous log ride on July 11, 1969. The Duke spent a lot of time in Bud Hurlbut's machine shop at Knott's, he designed the original version and also designed and built Calico Mine Train.

Adam, did you ever see or get to try Mean Gene's Burgers? I did. I was also at MOA last year. I forgot about Pastamania but I did remember the episode of WCW Nitro was there in the rotunda. Can be found on YT

This was when Hulk was with WCW @12:57 and not WWF/WWE. Hulk would later on become Hollywood Hulk Hogan with NWO.

@@chuckfan1 For historical accuracy it matters and I was just trying to correct that there Terry. And to me, it does matter because I hate WWF/WWE about as much as you hate my post. Good day Terry.

Adam i remember when you went there the first time and you hung out with a friend of yours who showed you around the mall so it was great once again to be back at MOA especially with you because the first time I experienced it was with you and my second time visiting it was with you today 6 /21/2024 and I know that actually you were there on 6/20/2024 anyway thanks again for the great day in the MOA but the main thing is I’m glad you had a fun time your second time there, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure where ever it takes you also if you don’t already know Tim and Jenn Tracker bought a golf cart so I was thinking you and Tim could hook up and ride around town peace ☮️ out ✌️
