It looks like a really great place and I bet the kids of this generation relate to Nickelodeon more than Snoopy, but my heart will never fully heal from the rebranding of this park lol. I spent many years of my childhood going to Camp Snoopy and the new park just doesn't have the same charm. If there's one place in the world that should be Snoopy themed, it's Minnesota. That's where Charles Schulz, the creator of The Peanuts and Snoopy himself, is from. I remember my family parking our big green minivan and being so excited I could barely breathe...walking through the mall felt like it took forever...but as you got closer you could smell the funnel cakes, you could hear the jingle bells, every so often you would catch a glimpse of the Ripsaw gliding by- you could see into the park from certain angles of the mall....and then by the time you got to Lego Land you knew you were getting close...and then....The big red Snoopy bowl fountain would greet you and you knew you were finally there. It was paradise for a young kid, I have sooo many memories there. There was just something about the whole experience that has stuck with me more than any other theme park that I've been to, it was really a magical place. I haven't been to Knott's Berry Farm or any of the other Camp Snoopy's for that matter...but the one at MOA being indoor is really what set it apart, I can't imagine any are as good as the one at MOA was. As a kid, it was literally my favorite place on earth. I hope hope hope that maybe some day, they bring it back...
I’m so happy I live in Rochester MN so during summer or spring break or even just a random time I can visit this place it’s just 1 hour and 30 minutes away
I remember when it was Camp Snoopy! The Backyardigans tree was the KITE EATING TREE! I have to say I am so happy that there were certain rides they didn’t touch... now THAT is respect. The log chute is absolutely classic. Way to go Nickelodeon. I’ve been dying to go back. What a great video!
It's better than some outdoor parks lmao, not everything can be Cedar Point. This is probably the peak of what can be done safely in a space with those dimensions.
Im not trying to knock American Dream Mall but you can see how much heart was put into this one compared to the boring layout of the one at Dream. To be fair, I know this mall was constructed when malls werent dying and Dream's indoor water park looks great.
Totally agree about number one. Most of the rides here are impressive because they're in an indoor park. But if you took rides like Spongebob and put them in an outdoor park people wouldn't necessarily rave about them. But Log Chute is genuinely fantastic and it would be impressive at just about any park.
I clicked on this video to make sure that the log ride was number one. I was not disapointed :D. I've been going on that ride for almost 20 years. What a classic.
My favorite Coasters are Orange Streak, the Fairly Odd Coaster Shredders Mutant Mashers and the Rock Bottom Plunge and I also remember Camo Snoopy used be at MOA but now it's a Valley Fair
I'm really baffled the Avatar coaster wasn't your favorite coaster in the park. It provides some great airtime and visuals. And its just pure fun if you get a ride with good spin.
Thanks.. Really sad they removed their hexentanz, but it's somewhere I definitely want to visit. Luckily I got to ride it once when it was Tampico Tumbler at Knotts, and I really enjoyed it. Would love to ride one again some day.
You summed it UP. Cool indoor park. If they'd only do that to the Houston AstroDome. You could get a lotta stuff in there. Run the rapid/ flume ride around the exterior.
I wish. Fiesta Texas is great, but I shouldn’t have to drive 2 and a half hours for a real amusement park when I live in the vicinity of a major American city.
A lot has definitely changed since I’ve seen there my siblings and I used to go every summer do to my dad living in Minneapolis we would catch the bus there at least 4 times outta the week and we thought it was amazing back then but seeing it now makes it look like we missed out on so much so I will be taking my daughter there next summer ❤

Sometimes if we're in the area we might walk around the mall, but haven't done the theme park in years. I was born in 2001 so I vividly remember when it was Camp Snoopy but I am more familiar with it being Nickelodeon Universe. That being said, I feel like there could be better ride ideas for Nickelodeon Universe. I saw a comment on here saying it would've been cool if the Log Chute was TMNT Sewer themed. I also think it'd be cool if the Spongebob Roller Coaster was called Fiery Fist O' Pain The Ghost Blaster should either be Danny Phantom themed and or Flying Dutchman themed since they literally have a statue of the Flying Dutchman close to it. I also think it'd be cool if there was like an Avatar The Last Airbender themed Roller Coaster. Maybe something Appa Related. "Appa and the Escape from the Fire Nation" I'm also surprised they have a lot of older Nick Jr themed stuff there despite it being outdated. I mean who these days knows Diego? When was the last time Dora the Explorer or Blues Clues aired or the Backyardgans or the Wonder Pets?
Of all the rides I've ridden there, my favorite is the Log Chute followed by Ghostblasters, Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge, Pepsi Orange Streak, Fairly Odd Coaster, Brain Surge, Splat-O-Sphere, Crazy Cars, Tak Attack, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock, Dutchman's Deck, Backyardigans Swing-Along, Ballon Race, Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Collider, Wonder Pet's Flyboat, Back at the Barnyard Hayride, Diego's Rescue Rider, Pinneaple Poppers, Red Baron, Carousel, Big Rigs, La Adventura De Azul, El Circulo Del Cielo, Danny Phantom Ghost Zone and Avatar Airbender.
If all malls had a Sally Dark, I'd have new shoes each week like RIC Flair, Woooooooooo. And that Brainsurge, would you consider that like the Showtime X-Treme version of Kennywood's Kangaroo?
We have an indoor in Canada. Think it's in BC. Can't remember it's name. Or is it Galaxy land? I like this park it's neat. I'd ride the coasters for sure. Log flume is really nice. Love the theming for it.
if you want a drop tower with air time in moa i'd recommed wonder pets fly boat the frog hopper bounging style gives some great air time at least for me today
I never rode a Zamperla Rotoshake, so I don't know where that attraction would rank. What was that ride like? Was it heavy on positives or mostly about hangtime? While I didn't ride Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Collider, I did get to try the Hexentanz at the Puyallup State Fair a few years ago. I think that one (Inferno) is still operating. The motion was cool from a visual perspective, but it didn't offer the airtime I expected (it was a pinch too slow to do that). It probably would've been around the 11-12 spot. It sounds like the one at Mall of America was run faster though.
@@CanobieCoaster Rotoshake (THAT'S the name!) was all about hangtime, and honestly you weren't hanging upside-down for long stretches at the MoA. Still, the uniqueness factor alone made it a must-ride.

I like Brain Surge more, because I can actually get that one to flip. I had never heard of that type of ride before, but I really loved that one. I would almost put it above Spongebob.

I was usually the only one flipping on Shell Shock. You need technique and patience.
This park looks way better than nick u at American dream
American Dream has the better coasters, but this park beats it overall and in the other areas.
This was temporarily renamed The Park At Mall Of America in 2006 before getting the Nickelodeon transformation after the 2007 season.
Infamously
If all malls had a Sally Dark, I'd have new shoes each week like RIC Flair, Woooooooooo. And that Brainsurge, would you consider that like the Showtime X-Treme version of Kennywood's Kangaroo?
