Bro felt like a boss after that one
You could see it in his eyes after he turned the AA over.
Or when he won the WSOP
He is a boss 😂
For those that don’t know this is Joe Hachem he took a long break out of the public eye now’s he recently started playing again, he a legend 🔥🔥🔥
Wow he has aged very well too. So many of the older players look beat up. Hashem looking fresh
@@CJ.1998X.Y.ZHe looks great. Probably from not suffering at a poker table for years haha
I mean...he's the 2005 world series champion. Who wouldn't know who he is? Lol just curious
There’s several Indian guys, one skinny one, one fat one, the other one has glasses too so it’s confusing. They look identical.
I think the other Indian guy is called fondleri or something
The bubble actually saved him… there’s a high chance he would have called and lost any other time other than the stone cold bubble
For those who don't know, this is not a soul read. You hear the announcer say that they are on the bubble of a 10k tournament and Joe starts the hand with 35BBs so he's in no danger of bubbling the tournament if he just plays tight. If he assumes his opponent knows that, then his 3-bet should get a lot of credit. Now yes, some opponents will abuse ICM pressure and try to run you over. But most of the time they will want an Ace blocker in hand to make it less likely that they run into Aces. So, knowing that, Joe understands that he's going to lose this hand and bubble the tournament around 30% of the time if he calls. Plus, he will get shown AA some of the time. That's why he folded, he didn't just put his opponent on AA exactly.
Blinds were 20,000. The 3 bet was ton120,000 on a 500k stack, koe went from 25 blinds to 19, for a guy that won a Mainevent he should be taking this risk all in imo
@@michaelryan3158The big blind is 15k. It is written right on the screen. Why did you do a bunch of math using faulty numbers when the correct numbers are staring you right in the face?
@@michaelryan3158they are on the bubble.... That's why he folded... I'm pretty sure of it.
More often than not you can feel when they have aces and the guy was way too happy and confident.
No one going to mention that Joe didn't necessarily fold when he showed the kings. The action was still on him and his hand was arguably still live the moment his opponent showed aces.
in tournament play if you show your cards that hand is considered dead
I’ve folded kings pre, it’s the best feeling. I was right as well. Nitty player who would only 5bet with aa
And where is the 5 bet?Is a 4 bet bro...
@@tienphuongdang3794he was talking about his experience
@@tienphuongdang3794 huh 🤔
Me too, its an extremely tough fold but its a great feeling to get it right
I folded QQ, AKs, AQ,
And everything below that. Haven't folded KKs pre.
I usually get it in good though and lose on the turn or river
Doug Polk would have a heart attack if he saw this 😹
Doug knows when 2 fold 2.
This one is in the bubble. Wise play.
He's done a video where he shows that folding kings isn't always bad
BRO HOW DID HACHEM AGE 30 years in 5 years!??!?
poker life
Been nearly 20 years since he won the main event thats why
Hair color changes perception a lot
Right? I didnt instantly recognize him.
he was 39 when he won the main in 2005,so that makes him 58 now
I watched this live and it's a lot different than this short. Homie basically insinuates that he has aces so Joe folds mostly based off that live read
Joe is one smooth handsome mf
I mean, it wasn't an amazing fold, it was just...a good fold.
Variance plot twist. They rabbit hunt and a King hits the board.. nitty fold.. trying to avoid the bubble.
I folded kk with 2 people all in I was so sad folding but very happy when I saw the rundown. Nice fold!!!
"The rundown"? Unless you're sure you're against AA, and AA only, its a bad fold. Generally folding as shown in video is bad cuz many players' ranges are something like {AA-QQ,AK,AQ}. Fire up your equity calculator, KK is almost ALWAYS a call, especially if there's dead money in the middle.
Once in a 2/5 game I raised and dudeman to my right reraised me. I came back over the top and reraised him. Dudeman folded two red Kings. All preflop. I had the other two black kings. He told me after the hand he folded Kings. I said, "really"? Dudeman literally said,"king of hearts king of diamonds". I was impressed to say the least. He didn't ask what I had and I didn't tell him. Dudeman didn't want the smoke. He was an older gentleman and played rare and conservatively.
i think each and every one of us has been in a spot where we've had a 4 bet or 5 bet jam from the villian, we sit there and say we have to call with kings knowing they can only have aces. a lot of us have that gut feeling but what makes a player great is being able to trust our instinct
Nah, it's solid, undeterring GTO.
nothing invested, nothing lost.
Hachem looks a bit older but pretty good, he has been a class act in the poker world.
Loved commentating on this amazing event! 🎉 🔥
I love the freeroll hahaha, he didn’t fold yet but the other player was so eager to show AA
The fact that Joe knew Ben well enough as a player to know that the only hand he had in this spot was Aces then I think it’s time Ben changed something up 😂😂
That's how you treat a big raise preflop. Good call on both sides
Watching Joe get older makes me feel old I remember when I started watching these guys Dwan Ivey Negreanu Greenstein Chan Brunson Hellmuth.
Great to see Hachem back and that was a top knotch fold
The blue Lacoste jacket goes harrrrd
This is a perfect example of when you will see the best poker. Not the final table.... but at the bubble! Great discipline JH!!
I've seen people lay down pocket aces preflop just because it's the bubble and it's for all their chips! They don't want to take even the smallest chance of getting a bad beat. I know it sounds unbelievable but if you're serious about winning and your tournament life is at risk.....yeah, I guess it's better to lay it down so you can live to fight another day.
No, I have never been in this situation but I firmly believe that my head would explode before I lay down AA preflop.
World Champion, Joe Hachem! One of the Greatest to ever play 🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥😎
Joe looks good, nice to see him playing
He won the world series that's good enough for me
No diss, but if you look closely, he hadn't folded yet. He was thinking about it, then with the comment about U show I show, he flipped them...
Tournament poker is different. But a great fold
This is just the best fold possible préflop
Felt also like a boss. Till the K came.
Preflop fold against AA, with an all-in show-down.
You ever been all in with kings and two other people call with queens and aces. Most craziest feeling ever
I've been all with my Aces against Kings, Queens and jacks. Guess what happened? We all got a set and straight on the board. Wtf?
I’ve folded kings pre but I think what happened here is that because they were on the bubble it makes no sense for hachem to basically put his chips on the line unless he’s looking to be a chip leader in the tourney. Now if he’s short stacked that’s a different story
Joe fkn Hachem!! He’s back!
Damn I haven’t seen Joe in a while. Can’t picture him sprinting around table screaming about his love of Ozzy on survivor
What? You mean Aussie?
I didnt even recognize him until they said his name. He doesnt look bad, he just looks completely different
@@mumblez1369 18 years for a gambler is like 30 years for a regular person in terms of aging
Лицо после вскрытия. «Я прошел эту игру»
when KK dude flipped, he wasn't folding yet, but the dumbass flipped his AA over so fast, KK dude lit
This is why accusing someone of a "slow roll" is often bad etiquette. Ya never know what's going on between the ears, occasionally it is warranted
Yep, to me a slow roll is only having the absolute nuts with no possible action remaining.
Amazing fold no doubt. That what makes him a professional poker player.. for the simple fact its the bubble
Self control: 100
Hachem is a legend
They say only 10% of pros can make this fold.
Ladies and Gentleman, a member of the 10%.
Joe Hachem.
Stacks make it easier on the bubble. Still. Results oriented to beleive this is a good fold!
He did not want to "pass the suga"
I once had two pairs and this guy had a straight . This game is crazy sometimes
Looked to me like he hadn't quite folded yet...
Yea I could only imagine if the other guy had pockets QQ lol
My last tournament bust last night online was KK, KK, AA. Surprisingly, his Aces held.
I mean of course they did. Only way he could lose was to a flush or king high Straight
I missed Joe Hackem.
The Aussie legend
My man Benny
I folded kings onces too preflop(correctly ) in ~14 years of poker i consider it one of my best folds ever.
Time to start looking for marks or defects on those Aces
The true professor
Kids, that’s why we call them ‘World Champions’
Best tournament poker players win by folding, not by value betting
On the bubble
Hachem still hadn’t folded yet whrn the guy turned over his Rockets 😂
Well played Joe Hachem
Some1 flagged him
What a hero
If you can wait for a better position wait, cool discipline
Hes so underrated....
Does he look more like Joey as he ages?
Great read
I lost AA to KK three times in a month!
I lost with AA. To 99 and J8 off. 😅
They were partners and he kicked Joe under the table
Joe went from 50 to 80. Lol
Don't be fooled he folded only because of the bubble
Great call initially, but it’s hard to call the ultimate without saying flap turn in river quite possibly could’ve been a king
I didn't even recognize him.
I folded queens at a table after two players went all in preflop. One of them had aces and the other had the same hand I had; a pair of queens. What are the chances?
Even if they Guy was bluffing with A5s, KK is only 70%, I'd take the 18k too.
What do u mean ud take the 18k? It's tournament chips and the 3 bet was 120k.
@@tylerslenk8243 18k $ was the first payout. He calls he gets zero, he folds everyhand for half hour, he gets 18 thousand.
@@tylerslenk8243he was on the bubble, why risk going home with nothing. So what if he gave up a potential pot, now he can cash 😂
@@tylerslenk8243its the bubble
It's bubble at a 10k tournament
People really forget the fundamentals of poker these days
Only reason he didn’t lose all his money is because of the bubble
That's why he was a world champion
Folding kings on the bubble is standard
Also in the bubble its a good fold
He's a legend
Exactly the type I HAYE to sit at the table with me!!!! That's supposed to be a horrible hand! But he made it hold its prestige by folding! True Champ!
He is a genius!
When did Joe Hachem become Australian Eli Elezra ? 😝😝😂😂
easier decision at stone cold bubble plus you covered soo...at this point you trying to min cash
Joe like god folds 😂wow.
What a sick fella
Aces get cracked often.
Better to win preflop.
He never folded. Got the other guy to show his Aces, first...
When hachem flipped it over Idt it was a fold. He might’ve ended up calling still even though I’m not sure.
On the bubble of a ten k.. I folded Kings 3 way pot on the bubble of a 5.50 tourney 😂😂😂
Holy shit! That's Joe Hachem?!?!
Mr.sunglasses couldn't believe he got AA. COULDN'T WAIT to ALL IN.. my 16 yr old brother does the same ish. No foreplay just the moneyshot. Gotta be patient homie to get paid
I've even fold pocket aces.. no big deal. Pocket Kings, queen's.. easy fold at times pre flop.
He played Aces wrong
They buddies he kicked him and he turned his ass over before he even folded
either he had a super read on that guy or this wsop main champ is running low on money, seemed he was more worried about a min cash here
He didn't actually fold, is there some weird rule in MTTs where showing is a fold? Or would the floor have been called if the other guy showed QQ?
Looked like his opponent angled himself.
He wouls rather play than gamble on the bubble.
Wow what a stud
Nope. This is Joe overestimating ICM considerations. I would hear an argument for folding QQ in this spot against a nit range but KK is unjustifiable. Bad fold at the right time imo.
You became old when you fold Kings
Good call. Chances are he would have lost.
