    I have 1000 items... sell clothing. Last months sales were $8000. I sell about 9 per day, I think. Sold 287 items last month. Avg sale price is $27. I list 10-15 per day. Your math is spot on. Really helps me to figure out how to scale up to $10K a month which is my next goal.

It'll pick back up again in Feb. Although strangely Nov has been way better than Oct so far for me. Just keep plugging away and increase you number of listed items.

    In clothing it seems the larger your store gets the lower the sell through rate seems to be. I've watched some very large clothing sellers over the years and I've seen it go from 15% monthly sell through down to 8.5% for very large stores. I started out selling 25% in my store when it was small, then at 5000 items listed it's around 9-10% per month. I've seen much large sellers when a lower overall sell through so that's cool. The biggest change for me is a fairly large increase in fees in the past year.

    • @D.C.22
      @D.C.22 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From watching ebay over the years being a small seller, I think the biggest problem with getting too large is that you ened up basically trying to sell trash. Its a problem with ALL platforms, including gig work. Oversaturation. Most sellers aren't offering anything unique or desirable, which leads to list - list - list then selling at ridiculously low prices trying to make a sale, bringing down the value of the market. I'm not trying to sale at a discount garage sale!
