GA4 Attribution Models: How They Work

Conversion attribution in GA4 is weird. We've got 'first user' and 'session' dimensions - that both use their own attribution models - but then the default attribution model is configurable. In this tutorial, we talk about how these all fit together as well as how to actually generate attribution reports using the incredibly powerful data-driven model.
