thats just a theory in the dark. i think it's misdirection, like it's intended that you might make that connection and make you wonder, but intentionally not confirmed, even a little. You think an Echani would not recognize her, as she talks of "honoring the face of my mother"? I suppose Kreia could keep her from reaching that conclusion but still, it would be weird if it was true.
@@longbottomleafresearch5296 I wouldn’t dismiss it so readily. Arren Kae’s and Kreia’s backstories line up a little too well. Having been Revan’s first and last teacher, a Jedi Chronicler, and exiled due to all of her students having either fallen to the dark side, died, or abandoned the order. Then there’s Atris telling you that Kreia isn’t her real name and that the Council believed that she died on Malachor V.
Kreia doesn’t really show her full face to the party, so there’s no way for Briana to recognize it. While it’s possible that they are two different people, their similarities seem more than just circumstancial.

@@longbottomleafresearch5296 I've always wondered how much the Handmaiden is actually meant to resemble her mother from a lore/canon perspective, as in-game they're all given the same face texture. The one thing the Handmaiden has which distinguishes her from her sisters in-game is a small braid on the left side of her head, similar to the two braids Kreia has in all her appearances, which may be a kind of short-hand to indicate they're meant to resemble each other.
@@Shinoyami65 the braids are also just evocative of jedi/padawan style, though. but I suppose I see a very mild association with Kreia's hair style.

You learn something new every day. And thanks to you, I ended up learning more about Grey Delisle's filmography. I never realized just how many things I love featured her talents. And her performance as Azula proves that those talents are extremely remarkable.

"There are variations at times..." Poor Brianna is so blinded by her loyalty to Atris that she doesn't even question WHY Atris can't keep her lies straight.
Interesting how Kreia pretty much says that she believes that with the Force there is no free will. Which goes back to her point at the end on how she hates the Force and wishes it to be done away with and only uses it like a poison.

@@tommygunengineer9184 And that's why I consider her to be hypocritical. Keyword there is "grown." She didn't decide to rely on it because she needed to, otherwise, she would have, by definition, made it her CHOICE to rely on it (or not, because again, it would be her choice). It's because she WANTED to rely on it, just as the Jedi did.

@@daviddavidson9923 Not exactly. She hates the force because of how it controls people and their destinies. So to meet someone who is cut from the force like she is, someone who chose to live without it for the sake of their own survival makes her side with them since the Exile follows her ideals. That's why in game Kreia reprimands you for relying on the Force too much (example; if you use Force Persuade too much if she's in your party)

Well, she's had other students I'm sure and a lifetime of experiences.
More likely Sion and Nihilus, since they did this by literally stripping her of the Force. I don't think she felt betrayed by Revan.
While Kreia isnt talking about Anakin and Obi-Wan, this line also applies there I believe.
I think she’s upset Revan didn’t ask her to go into the Unknown Regions with him.

I wish in the game, Brianna would accompany the exile even when you are playing a female exile.
There are mods out there that do just that.

Well that handmaiden quote about the sith holocrons thinking she was someone else pretty much confirms kae is Kreia
Wait hold on. No, not quite yet. Another explanation is that the holocron thought she was Atris. Atris had been using them after all.
Papito Qinn thing is Kreia was talking through them, they are her teachings in them so it's pretty much apart of hwe
Were they? We know she used them channel her thoughts once. But Atris said she gathered much of those holocrons from the Jedi academy. some dating all the way back to the time of Ossus.
Still, it sure is possible that Arren Kae/Darth Traya became Kreya we know. So, that's some fine family reunion. KotOR 2 style
I agree or the possiblity Kae had possession of the holocrons in the past and the holocrons thought that she was Kae, since they probably recognized Brianna was Kae's daughter. Which would explain why Kreia would say of course they would since Kreia knows Brianna's mother. The thing that confirms Kae is Kreia is the fact both claim they were Revan's first master.
Maybe Kreia was actually speaking to Atris about how she's the last of the jedi there, messing with her meditation chamber at the end there. Or maybe both of them.
So this is the same voice actress that voices the female Bounty hunter Player character in SWTOR as well as Taoshi in WoW, the female pandaran rogue companion in the rogue orderhall in Legion.

That's something I was debating too. I didn't think it was Revan that Kreia was referring to - since Kreia always seems to speak of Revan in a praising manner, or at least she does in the way she speaks.
