it is a bit confusing, that 2024 audi rs q8 has same lights as 2023 model. while sq8 has newer lights

There's nothing confusing about it, its just a model year, the rs models will often be updated a year later, when a facelift of the base model is beeing produced

Also still comes with a crappy piano black FOB while I think I saw the 2024 RS5 has the newer FOB that look like the mid 2010s.

They didn’t facelift the 2024 RSQ8, they will be in 2025. I ordered both an RSQ8 and SQ 8 in October 2023 was going to choose when they got here. Delivery date of SQ8 is May 2024. RSQ8 hasn’t been built yet. I guess I’ll be taking home the SQ8.
