- I got a Zombie Tools blade to test, and what I found was it was actually extremely proficient in the woods...not just a cool weapon type blade. Should be available soon from Zombie Tools.

Love that blade! Thank you for the cool demo!
Nice. Glad to see the shed.
I really like this Blade.
Thank you again for another thorough review !
Very cool. Thanks for showing.
You're preying on my weakness for long blades. This is quite the impressive tool. Thanks for the test you two.
Looks like a well made, classic design with a cool styling twist. It looks very effective. I like it!
I would love if you did a review on the Zombie Tools Felon.
Great knife and vid. Thanks Cris.
Thats a VERY tempting blade. Might just have to pick one up. Thanks Chris!
That knife really bites deep, best one I've seen so far.
Nice! I like how Will said it's not his thing but once he saw how it bit he got down on that log. Plus nice home run hit on the soup can.
Underrated clean cut on that water bottle.
Clean top removed.
Water filled to the top.
On a fuckin TRIPOD.
THAT'S a sharp blade AAAAANDDDD an accurate technique.
I've been waiting for this review since Blade Show! It is, as you say, impressive!
ur mate really knows how to chop = .= that's like the cleanest chop i have seen
It was a pleasure to use for clean up work after our last hurricane
That blade looks awesome! I also like their Bowie style and their Persian knife a lot as well. Be interesting to see how this knife compares the Esee Junglas and Tops Armageddon.
Have never heard of Zombie tools, but will check them out.
Looks like a great blade, and one heck of a chopper
Nice blade!!!!! Really like the possibilities
As a weapons enthusiast I love blades and shooting in large measure. But there's something about the look and feel of a quality blade that one can just feel instantly. I just recently got into serious knife collecting but have known about Zombie Tools for a few months. And this one has been on my list for some time.
Ok I just got my hands on the Zombie Tools ParaBellum. It is extremely close in design to a $600 custom Bowie I designed & purchased 25 years ago. The master smith that built my knife did a superb job. This knife handles & performs at the same level... in some cases it out performs the custom knife. This is probably the best bang for your buck in a large bush craft knife you could find!
Looks like fun out there, I may need to look into one of those when they go on sale :-)
wow. that is a kick ass blade. I wish my RTAK2 had a swept edge like that one. Same steel.
thanks always fun
Yay another blade that I can't afford but really want
Love Zombie tools, great content Chris and it would indeed be awesome if you let tac get his hands on this blade, or Zombie go boom.
thats a nice looking blade. thanks for the video
My goodness that cuts deep, and the water bottle! :o
It looks like it chops very well, perhaps even better than the Condor Bushcraft Parang that you previously tested.
I'd love to see a comparison between the Zombie Parabellum and the Condor Parang, and/or other choppers.
that looks great!
11:17 That's frickin' amazing! You know a blade is sharp as hell when you can slice the cap off a water bottle and leave the water bottle still standing with all of the water in it. I need one of these blades lol.
I'm really surprised it didn't go through the can!
Wow, I want one! Nice vid.
Wow, like a large bowie recurve blade! BIG!
The Art of Prepping I would say if a Bowie & a Kukri had babies... lol I would call it a cross between the 2
I feel better knowing that the shed is safe from zombies.
Looks like quite an awesome knife to take on deployment. Large enough to be a good tool, but not too large or heavy.
very impressive blade would love one
I can tell he wasnt excited at all when he first got it in hand, but when he started using it he got a tad(just a tad) more excited.
+John Harmon Who? Me?
+PREPAREDMIND101 no,i was talkin bout Will, you seemed real excited bout it lol
Looks like the perfect blade for the jungle. i can see all kinds of good stuff with the blade and bamboo. Any idea when it will be available?
I wish they would have angled the handle down a couple of degrees so the wrist isn't so bent when striking. Kind of like a kukri, but not quiet that far.
Nice looking blade.
I wonder if the edge would roll on bone
great vid Chris berry nice blade!! Lol when is the next flaming carpet cut test lol
Nice chopper brother!
That is a great blade!
It got to me when u took a sip from the bottle! LOL :-)
On mine the spine is damn near sharp for a ferro rod. It just needed a bit of tuning. It IS a bushcraft knife!
Nice blade.
For some reason it seams that it is an improved version the TOPS Armageddon. Same blade shape but with better ergos.
not listed as for sale on their website. looks like a cool knife.
Hey Chris, that blade shape and geometry (not the handle or sheath) looks a lot like the Ron Macy knife that Nicole on Alone S2 used, which would make it a utilitarian, albeit big, knife, not just, or even really, a fighting knife, I quite like it, do you think you could give it a whirl next to a bolo or golok?
Listen to that thing whistle. Not sure if I'd like it or not but I like the looks enough to give one a whirl. Cool video my friend.
+Feral Woodcraft I might be persuaded to let you borrow it....
love me some zombie tools...
Until this beast comes out, I really want their Vakra khukuri/kukri. The "Traumahawk" looks awesome as well. Their names and descriptions for their blades are amazing haha.
Nice chopper in great steel. I realy like the finnish.
looks right up my Ally!
+Tactical Want to borrow it?
PREPAREDMIND101 hell ya brother!!
I like Zombie Tools. I hope they work as well as the look.
That's one heck of a blade. I'm surprised to see it only rolled after hitting a dense metal can.
that is the machete I was looking for. thanks so much.
that looks alot like the knife dr Nicole apelian designed for alone season 2. great designs.
nice looking knife
That is one hectic blade... Have to say been hanging for this review and I wasn't disappointed. Only criticism would be is we didn't see 2 of them!!
were those bottle cuts AFTER you worked over the blade with worksharp, and if so, how much re-profiling did it take? I have one of the Sharkalopes and while it is OK< it is also a disappointment, for the price I paid, as the blade angle is not good at all = I can hack things, counting as much on the weight as the blade profile, but the Sharkalope is not even as clean in slicing as a machete. I am trying to get the time to re-grind the thing. But I do like this Parabellum, IF it is easy to re-profile. Just don't want to blow almost 300 bucks on another disappointment. Thx!
Sweetness!!
Great vid, would love to see it head to head with the Kershaw Camp 14?!?
What tripod/monopod rig did you have that SJCAM on during the soup can cutting demo? It looks like you screwed a monopod onto one of those little tabletop tripods. Lol.
+kyle_429 it's a pistol grip/ tabletop tripod and a SJCAM selfie stick.
Can you review some steel will knives ?
Basically, it's a baby falchion, a blade design that was born to chop...chop off hands, arms, and the occasional head.
they make some of the hardest blades . Max ,Chris and crew bring the steel. Have had a Phalanx for years now and its Jedi powered Badassary
It looks like it's forward weighted a little like a bolo. Almost like Nicole's custom made blade on Alone's season 2.
I have a ParaBellum. I LOVE IT Great heavy bushcraft knife
man I need a work sharp nice bad ass knife very cool bro cheers
Anyone else think the guys over at Zombie Go Boom need to test this blade?
for sure, this thing would destroy an Ivan head
that's cool
Man, good timing on this video. I'm in need of a good machete. I have had one for years and just the last few days used it to clear out a huge patch of muskadine (spelling) on my property. I tell ya what, it's a freaking skill and chore to use a machete. I had NO CLUE. I slung that damn thing all over the place, thank God no one including myself was not hurt. Needless to say. I need one that does not go PIIIING when I hit something. Thing is, it's a expensive machete. I just need something better. And some more practice.
It bites alright, you don't want to have an accident with that.
will it hit a ferro rod decent?
Did the blade have an unsharpened portion of edge nearest the handle
Man will is just way too cool for anything other than an authentic bushcraft knife........
Sick blade, the bite is really impressive, even made the wood squeal lol. Grinding out the rolled edge would've made a great video, next time. If "she who must be obeyed" asks what happened to the can, just tell her it fell off the counter and walk away quickly.
I think whether it's a Zombie scenario or a real life scenario if it motivates people to prep it's def a good thing.... Def a good Zombie killer review Chris! Another good Zombie killer would be the GSO 10 & 12
Chris, please don't play with my emotions bringing up the good old flaming carpet days. I have been let down time and again only to be forced into seclusion while battling through the terrible withdrawals. I did escape from the underground clinic once but was predictably caught at a local residence while attempting to torch a simple welcome mat... a low point for me. I was led back to my cell unfulfilled. PLEASE HELP ME !!!
Hell yeah remind em. Its gonna come.
probably due to the fact my M44 is naturally a canon and my ears hurt already. but that cam has very healthy audio lol.
Now THAT'S a knife! ;)
6:19 shall not be infringed, brother
Reminds me of Schkm1!
It's based on a traditional Filipino war knife/machete design called the Bolo. As a Filipino martial artist, I'd only demand the best from these guys.
TJack Survival is the channel
Nicole Apelian from Alone talks knives
There is a video done by a bushcrafter on you tube with Nicole and she explains her blade. It's hands down in the top three knife reviews I've ever seen. She could sell a million of them if she wanted to. Cold Steel could take lessons from her on how to sell knives. I recomend everyone watch it. I recomend you check it out to Chris. It's amazing. I'll look it up and come back and post the channel and title.
I've been waiting to see this since I saw the initial video from bladeshow, did you still want to try their kukri? I'd be willing to send mine your way for a while.
+Justus Whitmore Not really into Kukris. One day I'll get one of their swords.
+PREPAREDMIND101 my bad, you mentioned it way back in the zakasushi video and I figured I'd offer.
+Justus Whitmore I like the way it looks, and I'd pick it over a traditional kukri, but if I'm going to do somethind like that, I prefer my way (Jess-X)
Hey Chris, what is the best blade sharpener for someone on an extreme budget, around $40
+Tactical Patriot2000 I'll be reviewing the new $50 worksharp soon.
you dont hear lightweight and large at the same sentence a lot so im assuming its very lively
could you make a vid. of how to make a pvc bow
Zombietools are awesome.
You still have that Mykle Hawke Machete you bought years ago ??
+Brian Mccann No, I sent it to ZGB
Cool.
Get yourself half a pig, Chris. Hang it up in the garage, polythene sheeting on the floor and go to it. Pork for dinner :)
What style of knife are these called? Machete?
take my moneh !
5160 as in steel or price or both
💯
No Masking like Tac??? ;)
