Yes convert kit is super difficult to figure out. I almost didn’t want to do email marketing b/c of that. Tried out flodesk and figured it out super quick and love the way their emails look

I don't have a video on that but I do recommend moving your list over one segment or tag at a time so that it's apples to apples when everything is moved over. Flodesk is great for simple marketing.

I got the impression that Flodesk didnt have much analytics but it clearly does. Wondering when someone purchases from you do you have to manually add them to a segment for an automated series to fire off? Also I’ll look into using your affiliate code, hopefully I still can while on trial.

Girl it is a life changer! It does not integrate with Dubsado at this time but I'm sure you could do a zapier zap for it. We were just talking about a Dubsado integration in the Flodesk user Facebook group recently.

Your open rates are connected more so to the email subject lines you create to compel your readers to open your emails but my deliverability in Flodesk is higher at 98.9%. You can integrate the contact forms with your website with code blocks for sure!

Hi there! Thank you for this great tutorial. I am curious to know if you can tag subscribers in Flo Desk like you can in ConvertKit? For example, I want to apply a tag to a subscriber when they click on a button in a specific email.
There's no tagging which I kind of like but you can segment a subscriber. They have segments instead of tagging. They are launching the segmentation when clients click a link in a regular broadcast feature but they do have it in their workflows which is what Convertkit calls sequences.
First off, this was a GREAT tutorial...I was on the fence of whether to use it. So basically, Flodesk will house my email list correct? Do I have to have an actual website to start? I'm in transition to changing it. Also, does it integrate with Samcart?
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you loved it! I like Flodesk a lot when you're just starting out or just have a desire to send pretty, effective emails to your list. They are still in beta mode so there are some advanced email marketing features they don't have yet. I don't see an integration with Samcart yet but you could totally check out Zapier to see if there is a zap you can use so when someone purchases on Samcart, you can automatically add or remove a subscriber from an email sequence (workflow in Flodesk).
To my knowledge there is no integration with Leadpages at this time. I love Flodesk and truly believe in it but due to some advanced email funnel selling I need to do I decided to use Kartra since it has A LOT of features I can use for landing pages, timers, and more. Flodesk is so great for those just starting out or only need to send pretty emails and manage their list.

Yes! Flodesk gives you an embed code for your opt-in forms and you embed that form on your website so website visitors can sign up for your email list.

I use Zapier so that when a client purchases from me a Zapier automation can add them to my flodesk segments. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

For me it is. I just go to my subscribers area and click on the drop down for unsubsribers and just delete them out.
