Thank you so much for this!! I have just started using flodesk, so have set up the workflow and embedded the form in my website. How do I test to see if it triggers? I have no subscribers as yet, and want to launch the website, but not sure if a new subscriber who fills out the form will trigger my workflow?

The easiest way to test it if your website isn't published yet is to open the web page where you've placed your form, you may have to do this in preview mode depending on which platform you've built your site on, then just sign up with your own email address, you can always remove yourself from your audience later if you want. That way you can make sure the workflow is working correctly :) x
Hey Teri-Ann. Thanks for the tutorial. I followed all the steps which were super simple. The question I got is when I have the op-in form, the success message doesn't come through and the workflow doesn't start. What am I missing?
Hi! As someone starting a new business, no one yet knows about my webpage and therefore would not see an opt-in on my webpage. Can these codes be used in social media ads to help people find your webpage and social media pages? I am not very tech savvy and this seems so overwhelming....thanks for your videos.
Hi Dale, you could definitely create Facebook Ads that lead directly to your Opt-In. You could do this by creating a landing page on your website with the form and have your Ad link to that. Alternatively, you could create a Full Page Form in Flodesk and link your Ad directly to that also. Hope that helps!
hi! im using flodesk for my creative blog, i blog and give out a different freebie on every blog. for example, i have many blogs on free coloring pages, but do i have to create a workflow and segment for each new blog post even though they are under the same umbrella? im finding it really confusing on how to work around this

If you are having an issue it's likely in the workflow, double check to make sure your workflow is published and setup correctly with the right trigger being selected. Let me know how that goes :)
@@michadyraa8902 Another troubleshooting thought.. Is it in your spam folder? Have you verified your domain with Flodesk? If not your email might be being sent to spam.

Thanks for this. Does Flodesk allow for asking for phone numbers instead of emails?
I believe you are able to request custom information on the Flodesk forms, however an email address would still be required regardless :)
