Our team leader introduced us to Flodesk, and I loved it when I saw what she was doing. My background is in graphic design and web design, so imagine how frustrated I was when I just couldn't for the life of me figure out how to add different kinds of blocks or change block types when I was customizing my design. I contacted her while tearing out my hair, and she recommended I check your TH-cam videos. And you wiped out my frustration with just one phrase - "click the plus sign." Duh! Of course! Is there a way to create a template(s) that I can use over again?
You can duplicate any emails by clicking in the right hand cover of the email preview and selecting duplicate. That’s what I do for my weekly newsletter

Hey! When I add a hyperlink to my Flodesk emails, it has this grey color. I'd like to show in a different color that's part of my Branding colors in Flodesk. Any idea how I do this?

Are we able to create different audiences for emails?
You sure are! They call them segments. Your audience is your full list but you can segment it based on form submissions or other specific criteria.

Thanks for a great tutorial video. I have two questions. How do you personalize the email with the clients name? How do you add the signature graphic when use a start from a scratch template? Thanks in advance.
Eva, it’s a block you can pull in on the right hand side if you click the plus sign and click on fields. It’s called a Personalization Field and as long as your forms are collecting the first names that will work. If you start from scratch you won’t have the option to add script fonts so you’re better off customizing a template. You’ll have more options that way.

Great tutorial, Lashunda! Quick question I created my brand logo using Canva, but after uploading my logo, it’s a Flotus at the top of the email. It was very small. I used the logo option in Canva. But, how can I get the Flodesk dimensions of the rectangles at the very top of the email where the logo would go so that it looks nice & fits the full section when uploaded into Flodesk? I’m using Windows 10, and don’t have a Mac. Thanks kindly 💜
I would just add it to Flodesk as an image so you can use the slider to make it as big as you’d like 🤎

I am reading comments within FB groups, and many are stating that they cannot segment the folk on their list in Flodesk.
I'm seeing that Active Campaign is known for more robust features.

The power of email marketing software is in segmentation. Flodesk calls it “segments”. You also have “subscribers”. So if GMAIL user 1 signs up for Freebie A, B and C they are listed as ONE subscriber but their email address will appear under THREE segments. Does that make sense?

Great video. Silly question. How do you "edit" an email. The three dots do not contain an "edit" option. Or, is there a way you can create a draft if you have to walk away and come back to it to make edits? Thanks!
Your emails autosave. When you are editing if you hit the Flodesk logo on the left to go back to your dashboard you will see the email marked as a draft. Just hover over it to edit the draft when you’re ready.
Hi! Do you know if you can use graphic effects, like Adobe After Effects in Flodesk?
You can import GIFs if you want to play with animation but that’s about it at the moment

Does anyone know how to change the link preview when you share the link for a created email? I have done this for a form on flodesk but cannot do it for an email. Is it possible?

Hi I got this error everytime sending emails. I cant send now button it always pop up "you are attemping to schedule your email for a time last. Pls. select time in the future"
I didnt schedule emails at all. Please help me. How to fix this. Thank you.
Are you able to choose a day and time? I’ve gotten that glitch on time before and once I scheduled an email it went away

If you select your text you will see an option to turn it into a hyperlink. Is that what you’re asking?
@@LaShondaMBrown I figured it out. I used a template that did not let me see the link option when highliting the text. I added new text boxes and moved the text and that did the trick.
