Love the color combinations. I think the Burgundy/Bordeaux mix would make a lovely sweater. For that color combination, a simple pattern would be perfect. Maybe some additional detail down the sleeves, but simplicity is key. So tempting to pick up some more yarn during the Drops summer sale.
I love the chapters. I have the off white, I held 2 strands held together for a bulky weight. I am working now 1 strand of the off white w one dtrand of a fingering weight, for a dK effect. It still drapes and it's cozy, even w 4 mm knitting needles 😀 Next may be combine my stash of rust brushed alpaca with something else.. thanks for the ideas.
Yes! Nazareth is one of my absolute favourites! It's a 200g hank from Woolyknit. That shade is so perfect as it is that I think there is no reason to combine that yarn with anything. But this was just an exercise in seeing my potential future options and the two yarns certainly matched in shade. It is very hard to choose! 🙂
It's a rusty brown and would pair well with cinnamon and burnt orange shades in my opinion. I was just thinking of pairing it with Dark Amber Heather from Plotulopi last night and that is quite a deep orange shade.
