Thank you for sharing! It's a relief to know I'm not the only one who has struggled and didn't take to knitting naturally. Hopefully having to work harder at it will make us better knitters :-)
A quick tip to prevent you from knitting the wrong way is: the working yarn comes from the right needle. I think your method to remember is cute. When I'm knitting flat - if it's stockinette - the front side of your work has the Vs and the back has the purl bumps. If knitting flat, I may clip a safety pin type stitch marker on the front of my work.
That's excellent! Thank you! I'm slowly picking up on these things but as a new knitter was totally lost. I've made the mistake of knitting the wrong way a few times but will always keep in mind that the yarn comes from the right! Again great advice
@@CedarTreesBumblebees You're welcome. I think it's amazing being able to learn to knit simply by watching videos. I'm not going to downplay knitting instructors, but I feel there are so many great resources on youtube, that this has become a fun journey.
Really? I thought the volume on this one was pretty good. I know on some of my other videos I'm kind of speaking low because there are people in the house but this one sounds normal to me. Are you sure it's not a sound issue on your laptop maybe?
Love this episode I have made EVERY mistake you’ve made. Feel like I’ve learned everything the way! 😂😂😂

For slow tutorials, try Very Pink Knits. She has several slow motion tutorials.
I discovered her very recently and love her content!
Can't hear you

You were whispering and I really couldn't understand you .
@@bunnygaffney2765 Yikes! This is kind of how I speak. But I will try to be aware of that in future videos.
