It looks very easy. I hope i can do the job as well. Does a new shock absorber fight back? Is it hard to compress to fit the bolt holes?
It is fairly easy job and it is not hard to compress it back
@@mrfxr1695 we did the work yesterday, it worked "okay easy", thanks for the video! we saved a lot of money and the van rides much better now! :)
@@schizzlschnitzl I'm glad it helped All the best 👍🙂
the weight should be on the wheel before tighting the bolt!
Can you please share reason for it. I'm not aware of it. If reasoning is good I believe others will benefit from it as wellThanks 👍
@@mrfxr1695 when you thight the bolt then put the weight when leveling down the ruber part inside the hole will turn and crack.
@volvo3589 I get it, but there's is a steel sleeve inside rubber bushing to prevent that on these shocks so bolt tightens the sleeve and not the rubber bushing. Valid point on bushings without one sleeve. Thanks for the comment 👍
Nm?
A lot🙂Apparently 160Nm
Axle stands always
I agree. I was a bit naughty there😔
Can't see a axle stand
You're correct there, I was naughty 🙄
