I’m a middle aged guy that learned how to ride them and they are fantastic. I don’t ride aggressively but it’s a blast to take it out with my German Shepherd. Learn how to scrub the wheel side to side when you are first learning to balance. That really helped me a lot

Awesome. This will be the breakthrough product that moves EUC’s from being perceived as a niche eccentric hobbyist interest to a genuine more broadly viewed legitimate and in time prominent part of urban planning responses to congestion and the last mile issue with public transport. For two reasons - it solves most urban obstacle issues and more importantly the aesthetics of it are so good that the nerd problem will go. If Kingsong could get this placed in an action movie sales would go nuts.

@@Kekafuch honestly I'm not a huge fan of them in terms of practicality because of ebikes and escooters taking that role but it would be SICK to see an action getaway of someone dropping this down and heading down an alleyway.

Why would people wanna poop on the S18? This honestly seems like the best EUC in the market right now in almost all aspects, so it seems surprising that people wouldn't particularly like it.

Suspension wise, S18 has my vote. V11 is just an air shock absorber.
Since he’s reviewed both and the title of this video says “the best yet,”’ I’m *guessing* he prefers the S18 over the V11?

I think with a spinal diagnosis of Scoliosis, I would end up killing myself on it. I'll just enjoy watching the more agile wheel around our city, once they become more commonplace.

The only things I miss from riding onewheel are steadiness over soft surfaces (mud/sand), and being able to carve up banked turns without fear of cutout from angling the wheel to much. Oh, and looking cool instead of silly. :) But yeah the EUC gets way more use than my onewheel and has halved my commuting time.
Thanks for the replies. I do expect to "go EUC" at some time in the future because of the huge range and big stable top speeds etc. 👍
But... I'm over 50 now and really want to get a few years riding Onewheel (while my bones are still strong) with its cool surfing stance and more of a "low speed tricks" etc riding style, and a fair amount of falling and jumping off. 🙈
I don't have any big fast 30 mile rides I need to do, but I can sure ride the heck out of a 12 to 15 mile blast on my Onewheel.
And even 5 mph speed on the Onewheel can be magic if it's a tricky enough terrain... 🥰

Man, get inmotion, the assembly and material quality is not to compare to kingsong. If you want to ride more than one season of course
Nah, the Ks18 suspension is superior to the Inmotion, plus it's more manoeverable and the mileage/charge time is also pretty good.... if you've got stairs to carry it up the s18 is lighter too.

@@barrett5229 Dumb comment. I have both, and they serve two very different functions. If I want to commute, or just go really fast, then I grab the euc. If I want to "float" I grab the Onewheel. One isn't better than the other.
@@maynarddrivesfast804 yeah enjoy that onewheel then. I had both too. Then it cut off mid ride and nearly killed my brother because of the side stance and the nose plowing straight into the ground. Do some research. It’s happened to many riders. The onewheel is a POS
@@barrett5229 the board doesn't just "cut off". You get fair warning with pushback before it nosedives. Your brother clearly ignored the boards pushback and tried to push it past its limits. Do research? I've owned the damn thing for over a year and have put almost 500 miles on it. That's all the "research" I need to do. Don't ask more of the board than it can give you, and you won't eat shit. Gotta know your equipment.
One wheels are great too. Almost 2000 miles and zero nose dives. To be honest your doing something dumb if you’re nose diving. Also my top speed on it is 23.2 MPH so I’m not going slow.
I can’t believe this video is 3 years old, helped influence me to get an S18 which had several thousand trouble free miles now, range is plenty good for me, I do wish the tires lasted longer, a great machine

Best EUC review ever! Kuji, would be nice if you actually test full range with different riding styles and speed and max speed on low % charge. Will definitely buy S18, next to my 16x that's already falling apart after 5800km.

You are one of the very best reviewers of anything. Like most of your videos this was informative, affable, entertaining, with ideal pacing and overall duration. I have no interest in onewheels, but I watch and enjoy everything you post.
Here is a list of changes and improvements on the production model King Song S18:
Adjustable Pedal -Structural: The pedals are adjustable allowing riders to lower the platform by 2cm. This allows riders of different heights to have better control and increased comfort levels on the S18.
Mudguard- Back fender: Previous mudguard was secured by glue and one screw. The final production is secured by a total of 3, one on each shell and one in between with the addition of glue.
Tiring rubbing noise: Some prototypes experienced a rubbing noise issue. The tire we used on prototype is a little bit wider than massive production, and the mainboard holder tubes had some errors, so the tire might be pushed to one side and scratched the body shell. We’ve adjusted the moldings/dimensions to eliminate these issues.
Wobbliness: Users experienced issues where the wheel would wobble when braking. After testing we eliminated the issue being suspension related but was rather padding related. Users could not grip the wheel when braking hard, we have since increased the PU pad thickness from 4mm to 12mm.
Top of wheel hurting inner knee: The padding was not thick enough causing the knee to interact with the harder elements of the wheel. Final production will have increased the PU pad thickness from 4mm to 12mm.
Body shell: Some users experienced the case not being durable enough when crashing. We started using a material with more flexibility causing it to be less brittle. ABS+PC.
Outer shells popping off: Users experienced the white body panels coming off when crashing, we have increased the thickness of the clips so they don’t come off as easily.
Handle: Sometimes the trigger button gets stuck, we’ve added a crystal silicon logo above the button to create a uniform force downwards.
Steel Slide: To increase the durability of our suspension we have changed the sliders from aluminum to steel. The steel is treated to protect it against elements.
Suspension support frame: Suspension support frame is changed from space grey to gold.
Padding durability: We have changed the material for the padding so it doesn’t rub off as easily.

I’ve been holding off on buying a Uni wheel because I thought they would not hold up bumpy roads, but I think I’ll get this one. Thanks so much, was fun to watch. Dang those tricks look hard but you make it look easy.
I randomly clicked on this and this thing looks amazing! The styling is perfect! And that suspension! Man! The lights look great as well! I may seriously consider this in the future, but can't dish out $1800 for it at this time. Maybe if I find one to test drive, it'll light a flame under my ass to find a way to buy my own.

I've been looking at buying an e-Bike for a month or so, but this just threw a wrench in that! This looks so cool and fun!!! Now idk what to do!
I feel that so much, I already have an e-bike and now I'm like...but this looks soo fun and convenient for short trips- why not have both?!
An ebike is soooo much safer at higher speeds, much more offroad capable and with pedaling you can influence the range to your need. A bike can also have a rack or a trailer to transport stuff.

@@WeMakeLaw Not so much bro, even if you use pedals, the batteries on ebikes are much more limited than current EUCs, and Ebikes with equivalent battery capacity is soooo much more expensive than EUCs. I've been looking for some ebikes with equivalent battery and speed setups but believe me...not worth the prices and convenience (too heavy to carry and manuever). Besides, riding EUC is a totally different experience and it is much funnier than ebike, and It is not as unsafe as it seems. You will understand it once you open your mind and try It.

@@Kay0Bot It's for casual use but ill prob use it for commuting eventually. Why is V11 better on that aspect? Is it the range? Because I watched another review and the range looked very decent for the battery size.
@@mehmetkaran998 yes range/battery capacity is your most important detail for commuting. As rule thumb I cut the advertise range in half for non "ideal" conditions aka the real world.
V11 , (inmotion in general) , also design for safe riding and commuting in a city environment and user convenience.
I love this. Unfortunately I am too old to learn to ride it and will break a few bones and need to lose a few kilos. However it looks like the best and most fun thing a young man could ever own. I am so impressed. So.. I wont get one.. for myself... However I can relive my youth through my youngest son who is 14 and will love it. Just found his Christmas present.

I recommend $8 Harbor Freight 12V high-pressure compressor for my air shocks. Had to buy a car battery charger but that's a good thing to have anyway. It's a cheap POS system that works great!

Damm... that wheel is bad ass!! I just bought my 16X last year so I am going to wait for the Mark II or III version from KS before I buy a suspension wheel. I would have liked to see a spring/air shock they are more adjustable (spring rates/curve, riders weights, high freq dampening, etc). I always had more maintenance issues with air shocks on my MTN bikes. Love to see that KS is pushing the edge on EUC design. Great videos as always Kuji ..ur the #1 EUC celeb if that was a thing.

Speed and torque for the extreme enthusiast will be lacking. But the veteran is nuts... That's more my type, but the suspension has its novelty.
