Interesting, very few people were around to buy them new in the late 60s. Myself, I got some fake one in the 60s. They are a cheaply made boot. But I don't think they were actually sold as copies or real Moon Boots. But Why I'm looking and commenting is because the fake Boots I got here in Canada were very warm and durable enough. I still have them more than 50 years ago. I find it very interesting that the cheap ones could be made to protect the homeless from frostbite. Vacuum packed, left and right boot the same and probably made for less than $5.00 a pair. And they could save thousands in hospital bills and protect people in many places around the world. Nylon. A cheap sole and foam rubber with laces. WOW.
I bought some on ebay and its new with tags in box and looks legit from pics but I cant find the exact style they are selling anywhere so idk how to tell if they are real😢 I bought them anyways it was $100

Girl, that shiny mess looks super cheap, and you can tell that it doesn't keep it's shape. The real boots looks like it has better quality construction. Cheap and low quality never looks good
