I'm on my second Durango RT,I like the Jeep, but Durango 's front end is far more aggressive looking IMHO. And those 3rd row seats can actually accommodate 2 adults if needed. If you fold the 3rd row seats....the trunk is much deeper. When I buy an SUV, I would like it to be as practical as possible. My only complaint is that the power tailgate doesn't open all the way up.....so if you are a taller guy....you gotta stay closer to the bumper when you close it and kinda move to the side....cuz everytime I walk backwards..... it BANGS my head ,even when it's all the way up and I'm only 6 1" . Other than that love the whole package and it's pretty fuel efficient for a V8, thanks to the 8 speed transmission, RPM stays low. Excellent for towing boats also and very comfy seats for longer rides.

The Durango looks like a minivan from the rear. I love them both but went with the Grand Cherokee looks and off-road capabilities were my main reasons.
I’ve had both. Loved both too but will take the Grand Cherokee now, knowing what I know. Both were hit and totaled out (in the same year!) and the GC retained the most value, even though the Durango had less miles and more features than my Grand Cherokee.
Durango all day! Better features and in my opinion it looks better. We actually did some shopping and chose the Durango over the jeep ourselves. Liked the interior better and the front end/hellcat look is 🔥.
I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and it is not much different than this one. It is a V8, 5.7 and it is surprisingly really good on gas. I have had it for a year and no complaints at all. I would take it over the Durango any day. Grand Cherokee is more stylish, can go off road and has a little bit of a luxurious look to it also.
I have both. Durango is louder and it can intimidate more durign driving. Jeep grand cherokee is more elegant and it has offroad capabilities.
