This is my favorite halwa...once I ate this when I stayed there in Kerala during my childhood days...I had been seeking for this in so many places...now only I get a chance to watch its recipe...thanks a lot...I vl try this
Wow A superb explanation as usual. With this guidence any one can make this stuff with out flaw. By watching your videos I started liking many Kerala receipies. Keep continuing with good work. Thanks - Manu
Madam..Thanks for sharing wonderful sweet receipe..I have one doubt ..What is substitute in place of coconut oil..Can we add ghee..If yes. What should be the measure.. One more doubt ..How times it should be left overnight soaking..2 or 3 times each 10 to 12 hrs duration..
coconut oil will be tasty for this.. you can use ghee also. 1 time dough soaking.. then 2 times the accumulated part soaking overnight with enough water.
Oh dear,I love Kerala halwas, particularly this one.have wondered how they make and how they get the black colour.so sweet of you to share.thank you so much. I am a native of tirunelveli, but I love coconut oil halwas.😋😋❤️🤗🙌😍🥳🥰🤩🤩
I tasted this halwa when I went to trade fair in delhi... Malabar halwa... And how I found out why that was so much tasty still I didn't forget the taste
Thanks for the video dear....love you n all your recipes...this halwa is so mouth watering....wow....vl try soon dear....instead of Maida....shall i use wheat flour ....??
Wow I never knew we could make it on gas ⛽ stove .I have seen in my grandmothers house how they make it on fire and urali. The oil keeps splattering all over . So the cook used to chase us away .Now I will make it at home .Thank u so much . She used to make different halwa same way with ,wheat, ragi, mydha, and also with the mango seed (that paripu inside ) same way it used to take 2 to 3 days. It was meant to be a medicine. I believe u should grind it only on a grinding stone not mixi. God knows some belief.
