www.htmarket.com/ Great tip on how to eliminate friction noise or rubbing on any recliner or home theater seat. Parrafin wax does the trick, just rub it where you hear noise. Takes a few minutes.
I found out that the noise is friction due to rubbing.......I used dryer sheets.....wiped where it was rubbing....noice was gone ....for a month....but it worked...
Thanks so much for making that video, worked great on my couch recliner‘s that were squeaky and I couldn’t figure out how to make them quiet. Thanks again
Shalom, do you think applying a tiny bit of olive oil can remove sound of leather cushions rubbing against each other ? or this may smear the leather ?
I tried WD40 (sprayed on cloth gloves then rubbed on leather). Worked for a day or so. Also tried "Old English" furniture oil. Same result. Will try the wax (have some from when I applied to bottom of kitchen drawers -worked great!). Puzzled why manufacturer doesn't just use cloth for the noisy areas? You can't see them so what's the diff?
Unfortunately this did not work for me so I tried rubbing coconut oil shampoo on my couch with a sponge and warm water letting it sit for 5 minutes and dried off with a microfiber cloth the leather is much softer and noise-free
Since I didn't have wax I tried a dryer sheet and that also worked.

Thank you! I used my wife's unscented tea light candle, and it worked perfectly.

I'll try it. The leather loveseat recliner is annoying! But I read not to use paraffin wax, so a little concerned. Will get back to you on my results
it won't hurt anything its wax
Thanks Prof.! It worked like a charm. I always though talcum could work but never tried it. The wax is the way 👍🏼
No problem thanks for commenting
Not too mention that it's not as messy as talcum.
