Those unexpected babies are so special!! I found out on my 40th birthday that I was pregnant with my fourth child. Very unexpected, I was so shocked!! Fast forward, she is now 18 and the love of our lives. She is the baby of the family and so adored by her siblings, I am so grateful that God blessed us with her ❤️

Hey Basi, thank you for sharing your story. I too, had my tubes cut, burnt and tied after baby no. 4. Before getting my tubes tied, I consulted everyone about it but God. I went ahead and did it to please my mother & mother in law, but deep down it didn't feel right to destroy the very thing that makes ME a woman. Being able to bring forth life is a gift from God and I took matters into my own hands without first consulting with Him. Just saying ladies, don't do it until you pray about it. Don't listen to this person or that person... not even your spouse lol. At the end of the day it's you & God. This was experience. God bless

Sony West: Even then it can end up being the wrong choice. I had my tubes tied after 3. My hubby and I truly, after much pondering, prayer, talking to God and really thinking it through, thought we really did not want children. Now, 11 years later, I am only 38, we want more kids and feel it was not a good choice to do something that permanent to body. We are now working on adopting more children.

People shaming you on not using protection need a life your in a committed relationship and you did the responsible thing of getting your tubes tied so that you wouldn’t have to worry about getting pregnant. No joke I got pregnant in my tubes too I was so upset wanted a abolition but I dont believe in that.. My son was born with a learning disability and bowel disordered( hursburg).. But now I look at it as a blessing he mines Amen

Every person close to me who has had a tubal pregnancy lost the baby so *maybe* in your case it *wasn't* a tubal pregnancy after all... especially if your baby was saved.
I'm sorry for your loss Basie. It's not easy sharing something so personal. I'm not gonna lie though, you got me a little shook. I'm 42 and had my last child at 38. I also had my tubes tied. We have suffered so much loss we were just at the end of our ropes. Our first baby passed away when she was 7 months old. Our son is 9 and healthy. We had a second son that was stillborn. And 5 miscarriages after that. When God decided to bless us with our second daughter, I was clearly worried. But she's 3 years old now and quite the sassy little addition. Even though there's a little part of me that would be happy and feel super blessed, I've had 9 pregnancies in 8 years and I'm tired. So the thought of an ectopic pregnancy scares me to no end. But I really appreciate you sharing your heart with us.

Sorry for your lost I went through the same thing after getting my tubes tied hubby and I lost our lil one I was pregnant in the tube and lost a tube and was told I would never have anymore kids and God blessed us a year later with a little girl. Stay strong sis appreciate your story.

My tubes are tied and I thought I was pregnant for two months straight. It's been 21 yrs since they have been tied and mother nature came this month. I was shook and so was hubby. He was happy that he thought we were having another unit.lol

i just had baby 6 on 2/9. I was sterilized 3 years ago with Essure. I love my baby, but I was not prepared to be a mom again at almost 41. To top it off, my 20 user old made me a grandma 2 days later. I'm going to be the oldest mom at kindergarten :(

Hez Kiefer My mom had me at 42 and I would not change that for the world!! Both of my parents are older than most in my age group and it has never ever bothered me. I actually think it's beneficial to have older parents so please don't be concerned. Your child will only see it as odd or a problem if you make it seem like it is
I'll be right with you. I will be 39 with a newborn. I'm infertile. I lost a tube and an ovary to an ectopic pregnancy at 30. Then I met my husband and got pregnant again right away. We have a little girl. 7 years later, we are pregnant again and boy was that a surprise!

My mom had hers cut tied nd burnt then had my sister 3 yrs later. I had mone cut tied nd burnt but had pregnancy scare frw yrs later. Which i fount out i wasnt pregnant. But anyways the doctor said after 10yrs of having the tubal done you are higher risk of pregnancy. my mom friend got pregnant on her 40s she just started going through the "change" she was pregnant at same time as her daughter in law was. But there was approx 27 yrs between her kids but the good outcome she finally got her baby girl.

I know this is late, but I just came across this video and I have a similar story. I had my tubes tied after having twins. 16 years later I was at the hospital thinking I had the flu or something. They did a pregnancy test only because I was 18 days late. It said negative but changed to positive. They then followed it up with a blood test that also came back positive. They didn't do an ultrasound because it was so early. 2 weeks later I miscarried on my husbands birthday. I already had 4 but this would have been his first. I still have a hard time with it and it's been 2 years. I commend you for being able to share your story. God bless you

You are strong. You remind me of myself. I had 3 miscarriages but I don’t cry about it when I speak on it. It is what it is. I have 3 children and I never wanted children so I’m grateful. I hate when people call me fertile because it’s not just me it’s my husband too. I commend you for making this video.

MegaCutie86 It's 99.68% effective. That means that out of 500,000 procedures, there are about 300-400 pregnancies each year. So yes, it does happen. Also, the risk of failure goes up significantly after 3, 5, and 8 years. It's all in the pamphlet. I read that thing like crazy.
E. Michelle thanks for sharing! this gives me hope! I was in a bad relationship and I, too, kept getting pregnant. From the time I was 17 to 21 I was pregnant with one miscarriage and a child conceived on the Depo shot! So at 21, I'm in a bad marriage with 3 children so I decided to get a tubal. Fast forward to now, I'm 38 and have been married for 5 yrs and want desperately to have a child with my husband! I pray often that God would forgive the arrogance of my youth, and bless me one more time with a child. After reading your comment and listening to Basi's story, I'm more hopeful that redemption is possible for me. Although, either way, I'm still blessed because I am with the man that God created for me, so even without a child, we're still solid. It would just be really awesome to see someone that was created from our love, walking around loving my husband as much as I do!
It happened to me. I got clipped tied and burned and 8 years after I got pregnant and miscarried at the 3 month mark. The baby was in the right place. My baby would be turning 2 soon.

Wow! There’s hope for me😳I was 21 when I had my 3rd son and got a tubal ligation which they said it was a no reverse method. Like cut,burnt and tied. I was 21 still young and dumb! Now I’m 31 and I really want a girl so it just feels nice to know there is hope if that’s God plan 🙏🏽

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a large family . I am a mother of 7. The only hardship I have with raising my family is the fact that I have 2 autistic sons. I would to it again and again. Don't let people make you feel bad about having a family. Having a family is the best decision that I have ever made.

Same here. What I have noticed is that most that had tubal ligation-tied tubes,clamp, burned are the ones who end up pregnant. It's been rare if I see a video of tubal ligation removal of tubes and pregnant.
I got my tubes tied after my 2nd baby almost 16 years ago. At the time I was like I don't want any more kids so me being 25 and getting my tubes tied was not such a big deal to me. Well the last few relationships that I've been in either one of the guys had kids. My last relationship my ex didn't have kids and wanted a child badly. Now that I'm 40 I've also kinda had baby fever and been wanting a baby. I really wish that I wouldn't have tied my tubes. Thank you for sharing your story and sorry for your loss. Why yes, she's lucky.. how?! She did everything to prevent getting pregnant and she went through a super shitty loss. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE. Yes, I'm sorry for your fertility issues, but some people have the opposite issue. Which (although it may be what YOU want) it's not hers.

Well I have 5 girls.....with one ovary and tubes tied.....I had tubes tied after my 4th child and when my 4th child was 4 yrs old I got pregnant again with the last child. My tubes we're still tied and was never given a reason as to how I got pregnant.

My doctor don't even believe in me the only believe I'm pregnant I took test and it came back positive and they still don't believe it once you go back to the doctor who did your tubal ligation and ask him what happened ask him did they really tied it and clipped it and burnt it my son 20 years old I'm 55 years old all I can think God has something to do with it that's all I can say I know where you coming from I really do I'm just trusting God be blessed thank you for telling your testimony you okay now

It sounds like you already had an egg to drop before your tubal, then it became fertilized but just wasn't a viable pregnancy for whatever reason. Bless your heart, I can't imagine how worried you must have been about everything. I had a neighbor lose her life due to a tubal pregnancy. She had no idea she was even pregnant, began to have severe pain, and passed before the ambulance even arrived. So happy to see everything is ok with you and you are doing so well. God Bless Always!

May i ask what your symptoms were? I had a tubal ligation in 2011 after delivering my 4 th son . Now for the past 31 days I have not had a period I’ve missed by a couple weeks as in 1-2 weeks off but not a month . I’ve taken 4 pregnancy test in the last 2weeks and just now the last 2-3 days I feel flutters . I’m discharging nothing major but it’s clear and whitish color . Lower back pain where it almost feels like I’m about to start my period and most of all I look bloated and my uterus area under my belt button I feel tender . I’m so confused. Some nausea but nothing drastic . I’m just so confused right now . If anyone can tell me if they had any similar symptoms.. thanks 🙏

my tubes are tied and I regret it I want another child with me current husband now he wants a baby to but my tubes been tied now for 18 years I don't know exactly everything he did in procedure I just told my doctor I want my tubes tide cause it was my 4th childb and he is the only and he boy the doctor didn't want to tie them he felt I would want more later I should have listened now I regret it now it is too expensive to get untied omg.

I lost my first child and 2011 me and my husband had a little girl I was about 5 months way before then I had lots of pains I asked people who was pregnant before me the pants I was feeling was it normal a lot of them say yes anyways fast forward to 5 months me and my husband went for ultrasound and we seen you our daughter laying there still we seen the back of her head and the look on the nurse face told it all that was the hardest day of my life but we got through it .
