Two Week Wait Pregnancy Symptoms (Before a Positive Test!)

- Here are all the symptoms I experienced (and all the ones I did NOT experience) before getting a positive pregnancy test on February 7, 2022! The "two week wait" refers to the luteal phase of an average 28-day cycle -- it takes place after ovulation and before menses. (:
Often times, "symptoms" during this phase will mirror PMS symptoms... so the whole process can be extremely frustrating! Just keep in mind that every person's body is different, so your own two week wait symptoms may look drastically different from someone else's. With all that said... here's my own experience of my earliest pregnancy symptoms!

Thank you Jenna for this educative video. I recently started my TTC journey with my partner and I've been trying so hard not to focus on the symptoms I feel during the TWW. You're right the mind can play tricks on you that you might think you are pregnant when you're not. I'm still hopeful I will conceive soon enough :)

I had really sore and fuller breast yesterday. They just grew really big in a day and I was at my 12 dpo. Today is my 13 DPO and my breast are not as sore and full as yesterday. I don’t know what’s happening with my body because usually they don’t grow much during Pms. This time it just feel different and I’m also experiencing lower abdominal and lower back aches plus mild nausea and sour burps. Not gonna take a pregnancy test until my expected period date because.. agh it’s hard to see a negative. Sending lots of love to everyone trying to conceive atm. ♥️

I am currently 6 dpo. The last 2 days I have been NONSTOP sneezing. I thought I was going crazy. Praying for a positive❤️🫶🏻

Congratulations 🎉 TTC is such a tough journey. I’m on IUI #2 it’s more male factor related but we keep trying. I had a lot of cramping 3-4 days as well a lot of pressure and I didn’t understand why. I also had sore boobs about 5-6 days past ovulation, and I had a temp dip 6 DPO. I’m currently 9 DPO my husband and I are waiting to get to 12 dpo to test. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽.

Wow! This is so crazy. I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months now too. I have seen probably every TWW symptom video on youtube. Haha. Today I got a temp dip at 4dpo and I thought wow im out. This shouldnt happen until later. But then I just came across your video and saw you had one at 4dpo too. Hoping for the best. super weird but i had the pink/brown discharge around 7dpo. it’s still super early to get any positive test but my cycle is ALWAYS 36-40 days so super unusual!! We will see :)

I have really crampy cycles before my period as soon as 9 days before my period, I am currently 5 days before PERIOD and I’m having bit of nausia on and off in the mornings, but I’m not sure its pregnancy.

I expect my period to come 3days from now. But I have some of you're symptoms .like back ache.cramps. sneezing every 10minutes. Sore breast.this our first month trying so I'm not getting my hopes high.but I'm still hoping I m ready to be a mom♥

With both of my pregnancies, my IBS intensified to the MAX!! I have noticed a correlation between dairy and my flare ups though. I do crave milk when I'm pregnant so that may be why! My youngest, my son, actually has a dairy allergy so I'm wondering if maybe he got it from me 🤷♀️ congrats mama!
That's super interesting! Yes, the IBS flair ups have not been fun... if anything, I think they might happen less often (for me) during pregnancy, but when they do come around, they're much more intense!
This is really interesting for me to know as I have IBS too and in the 2 week wait. I noticed I had an attack for the first time in quite a few months as well and some abdominal pinching/prickling. I’m hoping I’m not symptom spotting again this time😂 but these are different than anything has happened before so I guess we’ll see in a few days

Hi. So I had unprotected sex on February 13th, and it’s now march 1st and I haven’t got my period since January 16th. I have ALL the symptoms you have the mood swings the breast pain and growth, throwing up, smell sensitivity, cramps, spotting a lot ect. I took many preganct tests and they all came back negative except one that came out wit a FAINT line. What should I do ?
Take another test, and schedule an appointment with your doctor for bloodwork that can also determine.
Hard to tell from the partial chart, but just from what you show I would interpret a day 14 ovulation, not day 16 for that cycle. That would also make your implantation dip timing make sense, as actual implantation cannot happen at 4 dpo.

I got a dip right at cover line at 4dpo then cramps the night of 5dpo

I ovulate on the 29 last month then I will ovulate again on the 29 of this month and I been having symptoms I been having headaches breast pain back pain throwing up saliva nose stuffy so I been pray 🙏🏾 about so I hope I don't come on my period I'm ready to be a mom

But it really takes 5 to 6 days for implantation. How can you have symptoms 3 DPO? Confusing because you cannot have pregnancy symptoms before implantation 😐
you are absolutely right about implantation not happening until later! any symptoms before that wouldn't be from HcG but could come from other hormones after fertilization (like progesterone). for people not tracking or looking out for symptoms, I'm sure these days are completely uneventful since the changes are so small at this point.

I didn't notice any large changes in my cm! I know a lot of women do... but that kind of continued throughout my pregnancy as well (I didn't have a lot of extra CM throughout). So everybody is definitely unique. :)

is their a way to figure out your DPO if you haven’t been tracking?
Yes, it just won't be as precise! The "average" ovulation day for a 28 day cycle happens on the 14th day. So you could count cycle day 15 as "1 dpo" cycle day 16 as "2 dpo" and so on! It just may be a few days off. :)

Omg.... I have that, since 4 days... I thought, maybe allergic for something? I have sore breast since 2 days and feel w little nauseous since today. My planned period is 13 days from now. Could it be?
Man this is too much. I hope that I’m not pregnant. I got a medical abortion and was bleeding and everything was fine. I looked online and it stated that you could get pregnant in just a few days after the abortion. I had sex because I thought the abortion pills did not work. I took a pregnancy test three times and it was negative. I am praying that I get my period in three days. I have headaches, stuffy, sore nipples, and am very overheated. (99 degrees) I will just keep this baby because it’s too much.

I know this video is a little older, but that’s actually not an implantation dip since you were only 4dpo (too early for implantation) 🤍 That’s actually called a fallback rise, due to a normal estrogen surge :)
