SCOTLAND: Sturgeon’s SNP Under Fire For £14M Credit Card Bill

- More than £14 million of taxpayers' cash was spent on credit card transactions by Scottish civil servants in three years, figures obtained by Scottish Labour revealed.
The spending included almost £10,000 on VIP airport upgrades, yoga classes, nail polish, and a £4,182 stay at Gleneagles Hotel while Nicola Sturgeon was First Minister.
A Holyrood spokesperson confirmed that First Minister Hamza Yousaf has ordered a review of spending on government-issued bank cards.
Commenting on the story, TalkTV's Mike Graham says: "We are in the grip of... some of the most corrupt politicians who have ever lived!"
Annabel Denham, the deputy comment editor at The Telegraph, says news about Sturgeon's spending of taxpayers' money will have repercussions in the by-election.

I deplore "snouts in the trough" but no one knows if this £14m includes mis-spending. How about Talk Tv does a feature in Michele Moan and the £30m of PPE profit that made its way into her family trust and the PPE that couldn't be used. There's a real story and real £millions that need dissected by the media.

It is a fact, the number of outrageous expense claims made by MPs/MSPs in recent years should raise the eyebrows of every UK citizen. Most of these claims are nothing less than criminal theft and the perpetrators should be brought to book.
The problem with politicians, our elected servants and representatives is that they do not want to serve or represent. They want to rule and sneer down their noses at the electorate. They treat us with contempt and should be treated severely in return.

It's only public money why should any politician care what they spend. We have the same thing here in New Zealand. Lots of frivolous spending with no real consequences save our taxes going up to cover for them.

The Scottish press have been utterly s***. It almost felt to me that their attitude was "sturgeon, dynamic leader, Sturgeon, tough stuff." Etc, then one day, in the latter half of 2022 they suddenly decided they didn't like her and that she had to go. FINALLY we had the media asking basic questions about the GRR bill and what a woman is to Sturgeon's face...and of course, she just sort of collapsed. She's never been all that competent, or all that clever. Sure, she is smart, but 90% of what she believes in is bull and can be easily dismantled with questions a 5 year old could have posed.

I cannot remember when the UK actually had a prime minister who had the indigenous population at the centre of their thoughts.
We have concurrently had elitists PM's from the right background and from the right school/ university. These people have had no interest in how to make the living conditions of the population better of with a better lifestyle.
We have a number of lawyers and barristers in Westminster and we can see how squeakier than clean a lot of those can be, just look at Ms Sturgeon, or the Labour Councillor advertising that she could help any illegals in the UK get get the relevant paperwork.
