    Nice tuning, i also didn´t like that the sidewinder doesn`t itself power off. I also built this simple power off, but i use with two diodes the fan and the heatbed to let the power on. The advantage is immediately after start printing the power stays on.

    hi mate! great job thanks👍 is there a difference between 40a or 50a? l found exactly the same relay you have used but you also shared 50a link. so which one should l use?

    • @NunoFlyer
      @NunoFlyer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      40A looks fine but when people do not believe in chinese quality looks better use more amps eheheheh :)

      @@NunoFlyer hahah ok 😂 l guess you are still using 40a and you don't have any problem. So if you say it won't be a problem l'm gonna go for 40a. same brand as yours. 50a is $5 more btw. should l go with 50a 🤔 l'm so confused 😅

    My 3D printer is from the Artillery Genius brand. It happens that when I turn on the machine, the touch screen does not turn on. Because of that, I can only print via the USB cable. Do you know how to solve it?

      Hello, sorry for late, I never got this problem on mine, di you already checked the TFT conector inside?

    Sweet looking mod. Did you connect the relay control input to the MKS Gen. L board's terminal "HE1" output (or D7)? Is "HE1" an extruder output or a fan output in the Artillery Sidewinder X1 setup? And what does the momentary switch (red) do when you press it for a brief moment?

    • @NunoFlyer
      @NunoFlyer  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, SSr connected to HE1(fan of extruder motor)
      Momentary switch just to power up the printer(you need to heat up minimum 50ºC before leave the switch ;)

      @nixxonnor 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@NunoFlyer Thank you for your reply. Now I understand what is going on. I guess you could change the momentary switch for a toggle switch with 2 positions: "Normal" (closed) and "Auto off" (open). Then you can set up the machine (in "Normal" mode) without needing to hold the button and wait for the nozzle to heat up. When the printer is printing and you leave the room, you can set it to "Auto off"

    • @NunoFlyer
      @NunoFlyer  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah you can do it, but I didn't it because if I forgot change the switch position not make sense hehehe :)

      @@NunoFlyer How do you level the bed? Do you hold the button all the time with one hand?

    • @NunoFlyer
      @NunoFlyer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@elektrobits3408 Only one time level the bed following steps on settings.
      Of course not all time holding the button, just to reac 50ºC(when the fan turns ON)
