  • It’s another huge week for Michigan football with the Wolverines set to host Big Ten newcomers USC for the first time. However, headlines this week have been dominated by Sherrone Moore announcing that he’s making a change at the quarterback position. Out is Davis Warren, winner of the quarterback competition in the offseason, and in comes Alex Orji. Tony and Rainer debate whether this was the right move and if it signifies a strong change or a sign of further concern.
Then after the break, the guys talk about the matchup with USC and what problems the Trojans present.
And last but not least, Andrew joins the show to take a look across college football this week and the crew shares their predictions for Michigan vs. USC.

If I was a Sparty or Buckeye fan, I’d be a huge fan of Reiner!

Is covering the spread more important than development?

Panic. Michigan's OL isn't what it was. Going to Orji is becoming one-dimensional. It would probably work last year with that OL. But I've seen Arkansas state shut down Michigan's run. USC will do worse. Texas did much more.
The other problem is Michigan's defense isn't that elite either. So you can't just run-punt and count on the defense to stop USC's potent offense.
