Sullivan was given his previous successes on a golden platter. When finally expected to “coach” he’s full of cliches and media fluff. Give him a new squad and they’d look no different What i wanna know is if Shea and St Ivany were soo good together last year towards the end, that they were even a heavy part of the penalty kill, why arent they getting paired during these supposed defensive woes? There was a serious chemistry brought over from WBS thats seemingly been forgotten with the addition of overrated Grezylck.
We still have a lot of talent here (proven in the last 15 games last season)....Sullivan needs to be fired. We need a new voice/direction and it's been obvious for a few years.
I was curious about all the drafts for the past ten years or so which would be playing now in the NHL... especially the years 2016 to 21...Of course there aren't but a couple of first round selections as they went in trades to win now... but boy the players drafted in those years just haven't made it in the NHL here or anywhere. The Pens sucked at drafting rounds 2 to 7... they didn't find any hidden talent.
I know...these other guys (DOC, Bunting, Jesse, Karlsson etc) really need to step up and we need to make a few trades...we need a steady D man right a way and need another scorer
I think that the Pittsburgh Penguins should play in the same way as the Winnipeg Jets does (which may be representing the future of hockey offence). Note that Winnipeg is not a young team.
@@lynyrdskynyrd9742 As one Winnipeg player mentioned, they aim to keep the puck in the offensive zone and use a mix of set plays, excellent passing and excellent shots. If Pittsburgh practiced set plays, they would always get goals. As you might have noticed that Winnipeg recently lost both games in Florida and so I believe a high level of confidence is also necessary. I plan to watch their next game on Tuesday at home to see if they have regained their confidence.

Im not sure they will ever get rid of sullivan. And i have no idea if it would make any difference in wins and losses.
