So for people who are too lazy to watch the whole video, here are The classes that Jackfrags uses: Assault -Hellriegel 1915 Factory -No. 3 Revolver -Anti-Tank Grenade -At Rocket Gun Medic -Cei-Rigotti Trench -Auto Revolver -Bandage Pouch -Medical syringe Support -MG15 n.A. Storm -No. 3 Revolver -Ammo Pouch -Limpet charge Scout -Martiny-Henry Infantry -Mars Automatic -K Bullets -Flare Gun - Spot Hope this helped some of you
It would be important to mention that the Limpet Charge has another very useful function. You can toss it on the ground to make a pretty sizeable foxhole you can hide in. Do this when approaching objectives without cover, using ammo crates to resupply your charges, and you can leapfrog your way onto an objective without exposing yourself.
I haven't heard any of the big youtubers mention that the trench periscope also measures distance. Nice way of knowing if your target is in the sweetspot!
I'm dedicated Support. I use the MG 15 suppressive, bull revolver(for now), ammo box, mortar HE, gas grenades, and a shovel. All apart of my Suppression Build. I lay down unrelenting suppressive fire from longer distances(snipers don't like me very much), spot enemies, and use gas to defend myself or put pressure on enemies. I use the mortar when needed on vehicles and dug in enemies. I also put pressure on airplanes a lot. Both snipers and pilots retaliate often, but if thier guns are on me, they're not on my allies, which is exactly what I want.
The Gaming Fedora Solid strategy, I use this as well. If your squad is decent they will stop and cover you while you catch up every now and then so you don't end up being a camper.
I just hate when most of the team plays scout in operations and all I see is people shooting each other across the map and not helping trying to get the objective
I don't mind people playing as scouts (I've recently started playing it and enjoying it myself) but the ones at the back of the map who are the issue and piss me off
Hi Jack! So yesterday was my 36th birthday, and admittedly I’m going thru kinda a rough go with life right now, so to cheer myself up I decided to spend a whopping $5 and pick up Battlefield 1 again since I’ve been on pc the last few years (r.i.p ps4 lol). After spending the day getting my settings right and playing countless rounds of conquest and operations, I found myself needing some guidance on how to improve my scout skills. So what did I do? I pretended like I was 28 again and started looking up bf1 guides just like I did back when this game first came out and honestly I had to pause the video to thank you for all of the years of entertainment and joy you’ve brought to this platform. You, Westie, Stodeh, Broken Machine, I wouldn’t still be in love with video games if it wasn’t for you guys. Gaming has helped solidify my sobriety, it’s helped completely shape my life in to something I would have never envisioned. Thank you and never stop.
I do think they need to increase the range the repair tool works because right now you pretty much have to be kissing the friendly tank you want to repair. I personally carry it on conquest because some people have yet to learn the number one rule about tanking in Battlefield and that is go down with your tank (with a few exceptions), but when enemies or blueberries don't follow that rule just take the tank so you can self rep it rather than relying on emergency repair.
J Lee The thing is that this is a game and I'd rather not have to have my dick pressed against the tank I'm trying to repair and not be able to see anything around me because of it. BF4 you could repair at a slightly longer range making it so you could have better situational awareness and die much less often. One of the main reasons why no one takes a repair too anymore is mostly because it's a suicide mission now.
This is probably one of the best, if not the best, starter guide video for BF1. Just 15 minutes long and covers competitive loadouts for all classes. Great work, Jack.
I'm not sure if people have noticed or not but the spotting scope for the scout also gives you the range of the target you're looking at, I find that very useful while sniping because I'm not good at judging distances in battlefield
This was one of the most informative videos I've enjoyed from you in BF1.. You where very thorough and I appreciate the work you put to give us all this info. Thank you.
The Support class has the weakest weapons, but i play the Support class now and then and prefer the Madsen. BAR is a good gun, but only having 20 bullets gets me killed quite often when you meet 2 people or more.
I am kind of sad no one talks about the real potential of the TNT. I find the TNT really great for killing campers in your buildings as well as flanking a cluster of enemies in an ally way and blowing them up to bits. I got 7 kills once with one TNT. I am sad no youtube see how helpful TNT can be on troops.
Whitedragonking Ocola it's a bit too situational. Also there's a delay between tossing the dynamite and detonating it, which can get you killed if you're not careful.
Mr. Ford I like the delay because you can kill them even when you are dead. Also I love tossing it in a building because they can take cover from a grenade but its impossible to avoid TNT. Not to mention blowing up stairs prevents people from hiding and camping your points. I actually never blow my self up with TNT XD I kill my self with the anti-tank grenade more. also setting a trap on a narrow road is always satisfying.
I just started playing that game with my brother online. He was sniping from a building and I left tons of TNT in the room. After he got a few kills, an entire enemy squad stormed the room to get him. I blew them up as soon as he died.
Whitedragonking Ocola you mean dynamite? The main reason I use dynamite, although there are other ways to use it, if there is a train behemoth, I would climb onto one of the train turrets, throw a bunch of dynamite on the train and my friend would be support so he would keep resupplying, and the train will be killed SO QUICKLY. And you get so many points for doing this
Mackin Cheezy Gaming Depends on the class. Ranking up Scout is pretty hard for me. It doesn't help that i can only play 1-2 matches a day. I still don't get why the unlocks aren't spread out a little more across all 10 ranks. Are they planning on putting DLC weapons there?
Mackin Cheezy Gaming a game or 2 per rank? i've played about 50 rounds as medic yet im still only rank 7... and those were all rounds in top 8 or so...
Thanks Jack, I was really addicted to BF4 but nowadays I don´t have the time to check all the different guns anymore. Your video helped me to know the differences between the variants.
Mathieu Bayana if you play with infantry snipers you won't need a sniper shield. and with an infantry you can play for the objective and you will gain much xp
Love the content, I have been going through your older video and watching your BF1 videos, I plan to get the game but could you do an updated version of the ultimate weapon guide for each class, cause the other video is from 3 years ago, I am not sure if there has been new and better weapons that have come to the game, especially weapons for beginners and wow was this a run-on sentence.
I've actually seen way too many people using the Scout's sheild, usually grouping together as a sniper team; making it hard to counteract them. Frustrating as hell.
ThatGuy Yeah, only if you got a good place to fire from, otherwise you're easy pickings for other snipers. That, and too few people actually spot anyone. Honestly, 60% of people on most rounds I've played were snipping. Ironically resulting in a more realistic WWI game. (I should mention I play on a console)
Funny I had this recommended in 2020 and watched it (again, I think?) out of boredom and missing 1 being the modern game, but it made me realize I'm grateful for one thing V has changed. Making smoke a default meta by integrating revive into interactions and freeing up a medic tool slot. I'd never actually equip or learn to use smoke as tactics (in 3, 4, or 1) since so many other tools vie for the equip slots. But V taught me why smoke is excellent and so necessary (insert montage of medics reviving in the open and without checking for who just killed their buddy) because you already are given one to use and experiment with, and I realize how my video game youth would have appreciated learning more about overlooked basics like that.
Jack! Quick tip it's called a round! A bullet is just the bit of pointy metal at the end. The whole package of the cartridge and the bullet is called the round! Your welcome!
Matt Bellk! Quick tip it's called you're! Your is a pronoun, a form of the possessive case of you. The contraction of 'you are' is you're. You're welcome!
My favorite class is the medic, and my go to weapons are: Mondragón optical, Selbtslader m1916 factory, or even the Cei Rigotti optical. Very reliable and it's a starter
My advise for AT Mines: Use it together with dynamite. Blow craters into streets and narrow passages, and hide the mines in your newly created Crater. Works fine, you can take out any kind of vehicle that way.
Great video! It really depends on play style. When I play support, I usually go for the MG 15 suppressive and low weight (now that they gave it a bipod). In normal situations, this allows me to suppress enemies for my teammates to flank or get close, or to deny an area. In situations when I find a good setup spot with overwatch on an objective or chokepoint, I often get to wipe out a squad or two before the enemy team makes a concentrated effort to overwhelm my position and I am either killed or forced to relocate.
Winstan Same with the Gasser 1870 and Bodeo. Black powder doesn't mean musket. Not using cartridges means musket. Meaning if you don't load from the end of the barrel, you don't have the musket. You have a black powder cartridge gun. Unless it's a cap and ball revolver, which is neither.
Unlocking the Hellriegel took me so long, I got 18 service stars with the Modello. In contrast, playing the Gewehr M.95 infantry as a scout class got me the Martini-Henry really quickly
Assault: Automatica Storm 1903 hammer pistol Gas grenades Dynamite anti tank grenades On any map, conquest, I go 35+/-15 kd with usually the top 3 in flag captures with minimal effort. It's a very quick and easy to use formula and it works well for short and medium range. Only thing got to watch out for is running in open spaces (snipers). The dynamite can clear corners and the anti tank grenades can clear groups camping. Gas grenades are primarily used for smokes and enemy hints honestly, not really for killing. And you are easily ready for vehicle take downs if necessary.
+ZincNut I tend to use it like a hybrid between a Acog and Holo. Has the feel as the holo but you dont sacrifice your vision for it. 2x zoom is awesome for it. Also the cross T recticle seems to be the best
I'm a Support main, and this is my loadout: -Madsen MG Low Weight -MLE 093 (I think that's the name. :P) -Ammo Crate -Repair Tool I always end up being squad leader, too. It gets pretty hectic at times keeping track of resupplying, repairing videos, and commanding my squad all while fighting off enemies, but it's so fun.
Another fun idea for Support class, and something I run every time I play it is: MG-15 Suppressive (for the 200 round mag) Ammo Crate Limpet Charge Incendiary Grenade. Bunker up with this class set up. If you know there are a few enemies inside of a building, do not run and gun in there. Throw your incendiary grenade through a window or door, and set up that bipod for pinpoint accuracy as the enemies look for an escape route out of the building.
James West I can't say I know anything of contemporary guns, but history, well that's another story. I'm sure battlefield has never been quite accurate, but this one is particulary stingy. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy the game. Just my pet problem
I'm addicted to my M95 - only weapon with more than 1star (on 8). M95, Automatico, HE Trip, Spot and the Trench dagger. Iron site assault sniping/counter sniping is just too legit. The other snipers lack of a straight bolt kills it for me, plus having no lens flare makes countering easy. Once you start chaining hs's at close range with the M95 it's this beautiful zen state of play, and when you miss the hs people don't expect the follow up to be so fast, or teammates land you that assist kill. I push up constantly and use the flare on flags and as another weapon to finish off hiding foes. Think I've got just over 30 kills with the flare! Perfect loadout for me, and I doubt it'll change much.
Jack, If you have time, try the telscopic version of the Benet mercié. That thing can snipe down enemies from B to D on Fao Fortress if you use the bipod. It's TTK is slower, But It's dead accurate at long range. The Russian Trench version is not that great, but damn. I feel like a cowboy using it with a revolver.
IrontMesdent go prone with an mg15 suppressive, almost no recoil, very fun to spray down and troll, and is quite accurate. benet mercie never seems to land any lead for me.
One tip for playing support. Use light AT grenades. Put a limpet charge on a tank and throw the grenade afterwards. That combo does 50+ damage against all tanks and with small ammo pouch you resupply both in couple of seconds. I usually destroy 3 or 4 tanks in Amien or Suez, where it's quite easy to get close to tanks. That's my tank hunter loadout. I can solo heavy tanks with it.
Call me weird, but for a while I hated scout. I still dont know how to snipe and then their are the sweat lord snipers that pick you off as soon as you spawn. But then I found out you can take the scope off. I loved it after that
Impulse_ Alex that and honestly, while its good close and can handle a bit of range, any sort of open area is still a death sentence so it certainly has a trade off
it does that on the customise screen, when you switch the assault becomes a medic, the support becomes a scout and so on, it reverts back after a bit tho.
I have put so much effort into the scout class just trying to get the martini Henry and I have a level 7 scout class I just really want it to get to rank ten!!!
noah manning It makes people mad for a reason, the thing takes no effort to do well with. I've never had an easier time sniping in any BF game than with the Martini. I run the kolibri as a secondary and Martini as a primary and end up top 3 every damn time, with plenty of kolibri kills as well because of the bullshit 90 damage in close range. It's not a balanced gun, far too easy to use.
I found the scout class by far the easiest to get to level 30. My advice is use the spot flare and PTFO while following squad commands and your points shoot up really fast. I often found myself being top of the leaderboard with a 2:1 KD and 20k points in operations.
Yeah i got 7 stars with the martini, very good weapon. Being killed by one is one of the worst feelings ever, been killed so many times by enemies using the martini. Sniping in general is very easy in BF1, the scout class was my first class rank 10, so I got bored of it very fast and therefore switched to other classes instead.
chillm8 yeah, broken.... It got 1 round, a long reload, terrible bullet velocity at like 400 m/s, and a sweetspot that is only 10 m smaller then the SMLE rifle which is also better in literally every other stat. It really is not broken.
The Huoit low weight MG has superb accuracy, I always use it when I fight as the Canadian/US Support. My favourite MG to use as the British / Ottoman Support is the brilliant Lewis light weight and suppressive MG. And as support I always run with the limed mine (So much fun) and either Ammo crate or wrench (If I am in a vehicle) .
Probably because there is not that much gun in ww1 so they had no choice but to add those variants and not to mention the hellriegel which is not used during the ww1, you can see that they added it in as well
It makes sense seeing how they handle, but it doesn't make sense with the class logic. Assault has SMGs, the Hellriegel is one, Support has the LMGs, the BAR is one.
+Julien Thévenoz (TheChade) But the BAR isn't a smg. I agree with the Hellriegel but its high fire rate alongside its high mag size and with the ability to resupply ammo would mean there'd be no reason to use any other lmg and it'd be a little unbalanced.
There should be a bomb belt in the game to do suicide attacks against tanks and large enemy groups. It would actually be very cool when you think about it.
3:20 Why destroy the tank instead of taking the tanker's kit and stealing it? You get an extra tank and the enemy has one less. Actually stealing vehicles is the reason why I always run with the wrench when playing support.
i was a decent player on Xbox with a 2kd but now in bf1 on pc im shocking. its so hard to get use to a mouse and keyboard espcialy as half of playing on console is using and abusing the auto aim
Thomas Stevens i'm gonna start to play pc soon, on xbox i'm lvl 40 something but i wanna get used to keyboard and mouse and play in a better experience
give it a week or two. when you get used to it youll only have to worry about hitting E in a tank, or even worse, on a flyer in ark. of course you could swap e and q to make that a bit harder to do and spotting a bit more natural.
Can't believe you didn't even mention the Bernet Mercie for the support class. The Optical variant is incredible. Probably my favorite gun in the game, I feel like it performs way better than the other support options. My other favorite is the Gewehr 98 Infantry.
0:46 Assault
4:47 Medic
7:39 Support
10:37 Scout

Kesko8 thanks dude, watched the video but this is helpful 👍👏🤘
Thank you so much man.
Thanks bro
the Model 10-A Hunter is the best sniper
coz that's still funny yep 😂
coz that's still funny I give you a like
true
ahah nice one xD
coz that's still funny
Aaaaaaaahhh

Clever!
TJ Wright do you play on xbox because I think you did that to me before lol
Dang did realize that, thanks for the tip
I do this a lot.
I personally make a line of craters so it would function like a trench
@TJ Wright oooo sounds hilarious. thanks for the tip
I haven't heard any of the big youtubers mention that the trench periscope also measures distance. Nice way of knowing if your target is in the sweetspot!

TheGamingFedora impressive, most impressive...
kolibri best weapon 10/10 would use again
Imagine kolibri with a suppressor. Even quieter that it is already and a suppressor thats the same size as the actual gun.
U r rite m8
I have exactly 4 kills with kolibri. It's my best weapon
Yes
i like pulling the kolibri out after hitting someone for 99 with the martini
I just hate when most of the team plays scout in operations and all I see is people shooting each other across the map and not helping trying to get the objective
its more realistic do
+William Grover but bro so your saying theirs only 3 assaults out of 20 people and only there people are going be the one taking care of the tanks
that is true but when they're defending it helps Air walker
doge _gaming420MLG defending yea but you wanna capture the objective the objective they just lay down in the back kill
I don't mind people playing as scouts (I've recently started playing it and enjoying it myself) but the ones at the back of the map who are the issue and piss me off
Hi Jack!

"Hellriegel seems most BALANCED"
*Imma stop you right there kiddo*
You forgot the most overpowered pistol, the Kolibri
MrAwesomesauce555 it needs a nerf asap! Kappa
this joke is getting worse and worse
MrAwesomesauce555 oh hell yeah, i cross mapped a tank driver with it
MrAwesomesauce555 actually it's the po8 pistol my favorite
Lucas Marriott c93 ftw
I got a Battlefield 1 ad on this video.
I got infinite warfare... sadly I already own it... came with the ps4 I bought :(
good for you
MadSwedishGamer wanna cookie?
Slugg Tactics lol just got that
Invincible 😂

Cardinal rule of mechanics, you have to touch something to actually fix it, using the force doesn't work.
J Lee The thing is that this is a game and I'd rather not have to have my dick pressed against the tank I'm trying to repair and not be able to see anything around me because of it. +D Link A hammrr does not have a great range, like the dynamite that is not sticking.Because it's not a C4.There were no C4 in WW1.
D Link it's almost like you have to touch something to repair it...
This is probably one of the best, if not the best, starter guide video for BF1. Just 15 minutes long and covers competitive loadouts for all classes. Great work, Jack.

I love playing support with the bar I don't understand why people don't like support
assault is better brah
jonathan brown because support is actually kinda hard to play, the guns are fun but dont kill as quick as the other classes
The Support class has the weakest weapons, but i play the Support class now and then and prefer the Madsen. BAR is a good gun, but only having 20 bullets gets me killed quite often when you meet 2 people or more.
I like support. The BAR is a good gun. I prefer a larger magazine on a LMG though. When I play with the BAR I feel like I might as well play assault.
MG15 ftw
You're very close to 2 million subs Jack! Nice job, you totally deserve it.

watching this in 2022 is nostalgic. i absolutely love battlefield one and seeing this again is just really cool
Getting to rank 10 with the classes takes a little too long. Especially since you don't unlock anything new at 4-9.

Congrats on 2 million subscribers Jack!! Well deserved!
Thanks Jack, I was really addicted to BF4 but nowadays I don´t have the time to check all the different guns anymore. Your video helped me to know the differences between the variants.
Sniper Shield is great for corridors you want to keep and useful for artificial prone cover.
Or artificial crouch cover
I use it as diversion and put heads around it.
Mathieu Bayana if you play with infantry snipers you won't need a sniper shield. and with an infantry you can play for the objective and you will gain much xp

it's easy if ur a counter sniper as u know where they're peeking and you cans shoot inside
Aim very carefully in the shield slot and you will get a headshot, guaranteed.
So satisfying when you do that. I always tbag for a little more "get off your stomach and go cap a flag."
The satisfaction of having him recommend my exact loadout as the best possible.

Mob Mentality was waiting for this comment
@ Adolf Hitler hah.. a fellow Nazi! This was just a bit of fun ... im actually shit at spelling and grammar ;)
NEET Magnet facist!
Mob Mentality whats a facist?
He should've said kallibri as all his sidearms
*Kolibri. It's German for hummingbird.
on support, kinda wierd how you skipped the M1909 Benet-Mercie. it being so INSANELY accurate.
it's the worst gun excluding the kolibri
Benet-mercie is best gun if telescopic... it's a counter sniper
This a better joke than infinte warfare.
FļasĥiņgÐuđ3 not even close... it's a sniper
lol that gun gets out gunned even by the kolibri
Good tips and always a pleasure hearing your input, man. I might pick up the support class more often. Martini all the way!

Am I the only one who uses the M1907 Sweeper a lot?
FTM98 unfortunately, no
Its awesome, the best medic weapon besides the selbstlader optical
FTM98 is that the one with the blue devil legendary skin?
Rawov Un Lupin I'm not sure but it's the only weapon for medic class with an automatic variety I think
I saw a guy with 100 service stars on his M1907 Sweeper yesterday, pretty insane
*sees an enemy with a Model 10-A Hunter*
Nope!
Lewis gun Suppressive version. Amazing scope, good hip fire and a 97rd mag. Not sure why nobody talks about this
Dangle_onthem_21 agreed
its shite at close and sometimes at mid
me neither only lmg i like with the scope is the one with that weird belt like mag on the side
I feel like all support guns are inferior to assault weapons. Even after the buff.
Dangle_onthem_21 cause of the mg15 suppressive with 200 hundred bullets and the same scope .
Why does everyone forget the m1909 benét-mercié
The Lizard Wizard too slow imo
it's the perfect weapon for me
+Maraziotis Yeah its a great gun but its rof is way too slow ESPECIALLY when its a 5 shot kill. Needs a damage buff like the other support weapons.
I got 51 kills defending operations with it. It's a nice gun if you play smart and keep at range. Also helps to flank with it.
I had a 20 killstreak with it on the beta, loved it
U should've talked about how the rifle grenade is really useful for Operations on Monta Grappa with the bunkers. Also keep up the awesome videos Jack!
The Martini Henry is a falling block lever action rifle, not a musket
PIERCESTORM PRODUCTIONS true but is also the only BF1 weapon that uses black powder.
Winstan the bodeo 1889 is described as a black powder revolver
Winstan Same with the Gasser 1870 and Bodeo. Black powder doesn't mean musket. Not using cartridges means musket. Meaning if you don't load from the end of the barrel, you don't have the musket. You have a black powder cartridge gun. Unless it's a cap and ball revolver, which is neither.
he said it is like a musket
Becky Kapowski its not though.
Unlocking the Hellriegel took me so long, I got 18 service stars with the Modello. In contrast, playing the Gewehr M.95 infantry as a scout class got me the Martini-Henry really quickly
Assault:
Automatica Storm
1903 hammer pistol
Gas grenades
Dynamite
anti tank grenades
On any map, conquest, I go 35+/-15 kd with usually the top 3 in flag captures with minimal effort. And you are easily ready for vehicle take downs if necessary.
anyone else just love the bar?
Hate it
Yeah, called my loadout "BAR-tender". I know I'm too damn funny.
I just cant get into it. MG15 for life tho.
When I'm playing hardcore I love using bar but in core I just can't it's tiny magazine is a huge turn off
Boi justin yep reminds me of ww2
3 different load outs for each class, 1 load out for close, 1 medium, and 1longer ranges for each class
Or... 1 loadout to rule them all
James West one load out to bind them
James West man, remember when froto layed bricks in someones mouth?
The Cel Regotto Optical is a good variant. I do pretty well with it
Same, I'm suprised its not talked about, its like an ACOG assault rifle when used correctly.
+ZincNut I tend to use it like a hybrid between a Acog and Holo. Has the feel as the holo but you dont sacrifice your vision for it. 2x zoom is awesome for it. Also the cross T recticle seems to be the best
use the selb marksmen better than that piece of shit
James Kelleher Hate that one, I like the Mondragon Storm.
Kenward Evan Then get good if you can't handle its minimal recoil.
I'm a Support main, and this is my loadout:
-Madsen MG Low Weight
-MLE 093 (I think that's the name. :P)
-Ammo Crate
-Repair Tool
I always end up being squad leader, too. It gets pretty hectic at times keeping track of resupplying, repairing videos, and commanding my squad all while fighting off enemies, but it's so fun.
Another fun idea for Support class, and something I run every time I play it is:
MG-15 Suppressive (for the 200 round mag)
Ammo Crate
Limpet Charge
Incendiary Grenade.
Bunker up with this class set up. If you know there are a few enemies inside of a building, do not run and gun in there. Throw your incendiary grenade through a window or door, and set up that bipod for pinpoint accuracy as the enemies look for an escape route out of the building.
Did you know that K bullets actually do more damage to infantry and specialist classes such as the sentry.
Mr. Mister Didn't know that! Thx for the tip
Only in Battlefield...
Are the most usefull guns obsolete or never produced ;)
Desert Eagle - frowned upon for combat
Battlefield desert eagle - beast
James West I can't say I know anything of contemporary guns, but history, well that's another story. I'm sure battlefield has never been quite accurate, but this one is particulary stingy. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy the game. Just my pet problem
Nicolas De Raedt and I only know names of historic guns, where as contemporary weapons, I'm a fan... wasn't critiquing you :)
The Model 10A was mass produced for American infantry.
please list some examples. im trying to think of one gun in this game that was never produced
I thought the Cei Rigotti was considered one of the weaker Medic guns?
Pickle312 it is compared to the sweeper
It is pretty weak but Trench is actually very good
The rigotti is pretty good actually, but the fedor avtomat is better
I would rather the Sebslater and Sweeper(Sebslater for range, Sweeper for Medium/Close range), but it is pretty good
Spurs456 what the hell are on about the sweeper has incredible accuracy
One of the best guides on YT
FINALLY A MAN WHO SPEAKS SENSE... it's the second best counter to snipers behind the 10 A hunter
James West i really liked using this variant of the mercie during the beta
IrontMesdent go prone with an mg15 suppressive, almost no recoil, very fun to spray down and troll, and is quite accurate. benet mercie never seems to land any lead for me.
I wish they didn't take out the engineer class because now no one repairs vehicles
Supports do, like me
you are quite unique then.
so few engineers in BF4 repaired just like these damn medics
NicollChris well kinda overkill, limpet charge, mortar or a spanner lol
Unholywolf19 for me in bf4 the engineers were quite helpful and in bf1 i get revived often
support is life
Life support
Support is my only will to live
One tip for playing support. Use light AT grenades. Put a limpet charge on a tank and throw the grenade afterwards. That combo does 50+ damage against all tanks and with small ammo pouch you resupply both in couple of seconds. I usually destroy 3 or 4 tanks in Amien or Suez, where it's quite easy to get close to tanks. That's my tank hunter loadout. I can solo heavy tanks with it.
Thanks for putting this together, very helpful for new players.
idk why, but I don't like the cei rigotti trench.... prefer the selbstlader
Elliot James it takes 5 shots to kill it was way better in beta
Imo Cei rigotti looks cool AF but I prefer the sweeper 1907, so much ammo and same autofire possibility.
I'm terrible with every Medic gun
I really like the sweeper
Dan_The_Gamer .
Me : how many times have made a loadout with the n.03 revolver
Jackfrags: yes
Jackfrags Thanks for the advice
Great video as usual Jackfrags!
Nice video, I just bought BF1. very helpful
Call me weird, but for a while I hated scout. I still dont know how to snipe and then their are the sweat lord snipers that pick you off as soon as you spawn. But then I found out you can take the scope off. I loved it after that
10 A is op and a crutch for the skilless
Or if you are good, an absolute monster that rips up the enemy
Impulse_ Alex that and honestly, while its good close and can handle a bit of range, any sort of open area is still a death sentence so it certainly has a trade off
why was the support soldier a medic in the loadout screen? around the 10 min mark. anyone else notice that?
it does that on the customise screen, when you switch the assault becomes a medic, the support becomes a scout and so on, it reverts back after a bit tho.
Pablo Fraire Its a glitch in the game
Pablo Fraire yeah i get that too, it's a glitch
Pablo Fraire it's a bug they will fix it soon
Good video Jack, I was having a hard day and you made it a lot better.
thanks for the guide! i just started battle field 1 and i know every single weapon. thank you jack for the video!
Keep up the work jack you're almost at 2 (well deserved!) million subscribers! Love your content!
I have put so much effort into the scout class just trying to get the martini Henry and I have a level 7 scout class I just really want it to get to rank ten!!!
It's well worth it! I went 62-12 in operations with it, super satisfying and man does it make kids mad. Good luck
noah manning It makes people mad for a reason, the thing takes no effort to do well with.
Martini kinda sucks... projectile is too slow & reload is too slow
Not a worthy tradeoff for the sweetspot range in most situations... jm2c
Martini-Henry is my favorite, by far.
Bruno Alves Becuase it's fucking broke
chillm8 yeah, broken.... It got 1 round, a long reload, terrible bullet velocity at like 400 m/s, and a sweetspot that is only 10 m smaller then the SMLE rifle which is also better in literally every other stat. It really is not broken.
chillm8 How, it only has one round, easy to counter!
Beside Infy rifle if played aggressively
chillm8 How is it broke, you shit? Knags comment explains your stupidity.
Thanks man I just got in the game and I didn't even know that the rigatoni has a automatic mode
Impressive quality on all aspects. Subscribed.
i used to go 0/18 in conquest now i go 40/8 thanx
Worminator by killing 40 people and dying 8 times
Matti Salonen lol,nice
Which class did you use? What tactics
How to clear the B underground bunker on Monte Grappa?
Michael B drop a nuke on it
Michael B clear it than build the wall
Michael B lots of dynamite
Get good...
Michael B rush B
Bf1: SMGS where made for the assault class.
Bf5: *no*
The Huoit low weight MG has superb accuracy, I always use it when I fight as the Canadian/US Support.
My favourite MG to use as the British / Ottoman Support is the brilliant Lewis light weight and suppressive MG.
And as support I always run with the limed mine (So much fun) and either Ammo crate or wrench (If I am in a vehicle) .
Love the vid jack it's been so helpful to me as a noob to the BF franchise.
the sniper shield is good for blocking doors and chokepoints
IrrationalGod So very true. I was able to get a squad wipe using this trick on St. Quentin Scar.
When do we get the mp18 PTFO skin???
LDlug at the end of battlefest you get it in a battlepack
Rowan Betts thanks man 👍
LDlug wait until battlefest ends
Do we also get the m1911 at the end of it?
Tristin LaVigne no u can actually claim that on battlefield 4 battlelog on ur computer. I'm not sure if it's still available though :/
I think bf1 is perfectly balanced and i am so Tired of people moaning that shotguns and other guns are op.
Especially the kolibri.
Thanks for the video Jack, I am a new convert to battlefield and your videos have helped me a lot,
Cheers.
This vid helped me alot thanks jack
Having 3 varients of the same gun is lame. Face it, the lack of weapons and customization with BF1 is under whelming.
1WINDSHEAR there may be a lack of guns but the guns they have are of better quality than bf3 and bf4
Probably because there is not that much gun in ww1 so they had no choice but to add those variants and not to mention the hellriegel which is not used during the ww1, you can see that they added it in as well
i still think its a amazing game
-.- its like expecting 2018's ferraris in the 1800... if you want them to make up guns.......
but there wasn’t really much variety in the weapon choices in WWI.
Oi theere mates, this here part of the commentsection i dub "the early m8s"
It makes sense seeing how they handle, but it doesn't make sense with the class logic. Assault has SMGs, the Hellriegel is one, Support has the LMGs, the BAR is one.
+Julien Thévenoz (TheChade) But the BAR isn't a smg. I agree with the Hellriegel but its high fire rate alongside its high mag size and with the ability to resupply ammo would mean there'd be no reason to use any other lmg and it'd be a little unbalanced.
There should be a bomb belt in the game to do suicide attacks against tanks and large enemy groups. It would actually be very cool when you think about it.
it would be OP as shit
It would be like dynamite
Done it many times just to save my team....and my flag.
And for fun when near a medic
Luis Sanchez Yeah why not? For me its a worthy sacrifice, the tank would otherwise kill plenty of other troops. But yeah it might be quite op
Video has aged well. Thanks!
Great video Jack keep up the good work.
“I usually use the hellregel over the MP18”
(Proceeds to dominate with MP18)
Anyone watching this now?
I am 😂😂
It's all about skill and how good the weirder of the gun is. *cough cough, martinihenry da best *cough
You mention skill, then bring up the Martini Henry. Pathetic.
AMERI-FREEDOM! Wooosh.
it takes skill to get the martini
3:20 Why destroy the tank instead of taking the tanker's kit and stealing it? You get an extra tank and the enemy has one less.
Actually stealing vehicles is the reason why I always run with the wrench when playing support.
true quality videos! keep it up jack!
i was a decent player on Xbox with a 2kd but now in bf1 on pc im shocking. its so hard to get use to a mouse and keyboard espcialy as half of playing on console is using and abusing the auto aim
Thomas Stevens just stick with keyboard and mouse, you'll end up getting better
Thomas Stevens i'm gonna start to play pc soon, on xbox i'm lvl 40 something but i wanna get used to keyboard and mouse and play in a better experience
yeah just got to get use to it but I didn't realise how different it would be and how mush I use auto aim
give it a week or two. when you get used to it youll only have to worry about hitting E in a tank, or even worse, on a flyer in ark. of course you could swap e and q to make that a bit harder to do and spotting a bit more natural.
Can't you buy a controller for the pc
I laughed out loud at 7:20!
Am I the only one who watching this in 2020
Nope
Yes
I've been using the M97, and it is really good up close. The slam fire function is amazing.
Can't believe you didn't even mention the Bernet Mercie for the support class. The Optical variant is incredible. Probably my favorite gun in the game, I feel like it performs way better than the other support options. My other favorite is the Gewehr 98 Infantry.
