Nice little boring bar upgrade, and there's plenty of length left on it too if you ever need to cut off more for some reason. For mild steel It didn't seem to flex much at all really on a short overhang. For deeper holes it might need a few spring passes though or hardening?
By the way your hand is better? Good. I was worried.
