Ever sinds then I vowed to try and duplicate the saus with a few failed attempts mostly because of a too complicated process. You recipe hit it home! It's simple to make and is really as good as the real thing.... one may ask then, what is the real thing? Your interpretation is perfect in it's own right and therefore I thank you. My wife, who also has tasted the L'Entrecote of Geneva, said this evening after enjoying your saus, you brought the saus home!, now we don't have to stop in Geneva anymore when travelling from the Netherlands ;) Again, I am very grateful for your recipe. A big thanks from the Netherlands!

What I love about this recipe is that it is an "all-purpose" sauce (like for plain, steamed veggies)! Perhaps it will freeze well in an ice cube tray and used as needed.

I love linden flower 🌼!!! My mother in law used to make me tea with it when I would be upset 🤗... I have steak thawing for dinner too! Not sure hubby would go for a mustard sauce with it though... might try it just for mine though 🤔 Always looking to make things a little differently!

I love the smell of linden in the early summer. I'm not a child anymore but it still screams "Summer break" 😄 It's really popular for tea in Bulgaria, bit I didn't know it can be used the way you use it :)

I've discovered this recipe when we lived in Germany but I use the butter and instead of anchovies I use fish sauce. I'm excited to try your version.
I often substitute in fish sauce for many recipes that call for anchovies! Not been disappointed yet.
