    Hey Paul, Thanks for a great and informative video.
    I have got 7 pipelines set up for 7 products (all having similar deal stages). Can you please guide me, how can I merge all the pipelines into ONE MASTE PIPELINE?

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'd do this by navigating to the deal list view, then sorting by deal stage. From there, you can bulk select deals in each stage and use the bulk edit options to move them to your new desired stage/pipeline.

    Hi Paul,
    And thanks for all you videos - very clear and professional.
    We have number users working for different countries.
    How to assign particular countries to the users?
    Did you mean that in this case need to create multiple pipelines?
    For example: 1 user works with Spain, Italy, Portugal, another works with Germany, Austria, Poland and all this countries where mentioned an excel file before importing.
    Thanks

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you could create multiple pipelines. Or if you're on the Professional plan, you can create teams of users.

  • @SharnFranghiadi

    Great intro. I'd like your opinion on our set up as I have an active pipeline set up much as you demonstarte, but also an inactive pipeline where we store clients on a waiting list (with a predicted start date) or on hold (with a recontact or restart date).

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sharn, thanks! The only issue with moving deals to an inactive or holding pipeline is that this will skew your reporting. So when you look at conversion rate, or progress reports, it won't include date from the deals you've moved so the reports won't be 100% accurate.

    • @StanleySportsUK
      @StanleySportsUK ปีที่แล้ว

      @@minor-co we have a very similar issue. Some of our customer take months to process the purchase (academic institutions as an example) whereas many customers the whole process can often be completed in a matter of days to a week or two.
      So we don't clog the pipeline (and can use the rotting function) I have created two pipelines. One for regular sales process, the second, for a "cold, but not NO" client who we know is going to progress through the stages really slowly.
      Is this wise, or is there a better way?
      Many thanks

    Hey Paul. We usually have clients that pay with a 30 day credit after they receive the products. Should I add a stage in the pipeline that indicates that the client has already paid? Or should I just click the "won" button after they pay? This just to have a more controlled information of the income? thank you for your videos, they're really great

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I click the 'Won' button after the payment has been made. That way I know the deal is completely done and money is in the bank.

    Totally binging your PipeDrive videos - thanks for putting out such great content! Wondering if you have any suggestions on delegating deals to sales people? We have a VSL with a call to schedule an appointment at the end - is there a way to round robin assign these to sales people or easily drop them into a stage where they can get picked up by first come first serve? Any other ideas welcome - TIA!

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Andrew. A round robin system can be set up via Zapier. Alternatively, you could drop all new deals into a stage and the sales team can claim a deal by changing the owner to themselves.

    Hey Paul, thanks for the introduction on pipeline and stages. I think so too, that pipelines tend to become too exhaustive in the number of stages and believe we have a similar issue, which brings me to my question. How would you include a free trial in the sales process (and the account management process of the free trial)? Right now it feels like the pipeline just has too many stages because of the various stages of the free trial. any suggestions?

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess one option is to have two pipelines. One for your free trial and then another for the sales process. Would that work?

    Hi Paul, thanks so much for such a dose of knowledge! One question - I know Pipedrive can be a great support for sales teams, but can it also work for managing prospecting and marketing activities? If so, is it worth having two separate pipelines (marketing pipeline and sales pipeline)?

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Although instead of a separate pipeline, I'd recommend using the Lead Inbox. It's designed to help you manage your leads through the prospecting stage of your sales journey.

    • @minor-co

      I'm afraid stages can't be hidden. You could delete them. But you would need to move the deals to another stage first.

    Terrific Videos Paul! Question... do you have any suggestions or guidance on pipeline setup that involves an ultimate goal (deal won) that occurs on a predetermined date. For example, let's say there is a big event happening 3 months from now and we are wanted to sign up vendors for reserving a tradeshow booth. There are a handful of logical stages that lead up to the event date. Some of them must happen a specific time leading backwards from the event date. So some of these earlier stages represent a set of cutoff deadlines (like 1 week prior a contract must be executed, or 30 days prior to event a reservation must be made with deposit). It seems like a creative use of stages and/or activities are needed. Suggestions?

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mark, yes I think you're on the right track. You'd need to think about how to use stages and activities to manage this process. But to get the dates set up correctly, you'd probably need to use Zapier to create the activities so it can set the dates based on the event date.

    Hi Paul. Do you have a video on how to use the filters? I've tried using it but find that I cannot do a step by step filter. Is this possible? For example - I first would like to filter by owner, then by company (which is set as a custom field) and then by Service (another custom field). We have a number of sales people and different services and that leads to numerous permutations and combinations. Creating a custom filter for each of those combinations would be tedious and the filter drop down would look large and cluttered. Is there a way around this? Grateful for your help. Thank you.

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, I don't have a video on filters yet. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "filter by owner, then company". Normally a filter is used to find deals/person with AND/OR conditions. e.g. show me deals owned by Paul, assigned to company X with Service of Y. If you can reach out to me here, I can try and help more: paulminors.com/contact/

    Hello Paul, about not having a WON stage - what if I have won a deal but I want to have some automation added to this deal after it was won, like one or more followup calls/e-mails? Or simplier, I have won a deal and now I need to send the invoice and I would like to have a task „Send Invoice” added and after sending the invoice maybe another task?

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could still do this without a won stage. Your trigger would be 'Deal Updated' and conditions would be 'Deal status has changed to won'. You can then set up your desired actions.

    Thx for the great videos.
    My question today is: we have a contracting business that has two arms (residential and commercial). We are considering setting up two separate pipedrives so we can track each business separately, is this the best way forward in your view. Note, We are paying for professional so we do also have access to teams.

    • @minor-co
      @minor-co  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean two separate accounts, or two separate pipelines? I'd suggest keeping everything in one account to simplify billing, but use multiple pipelines or even a custom field to differentiate the different types of business.
