Hell, we already dealt with an attempted Harley ambush back in Arkham City, where she had 4 people with rifles actively trained on Batman rather than just 1 pistol here. In that game, a simple smokebomb and grapple hook combo was enough to get out of the firing line, and turn the assassination attempt into a Predator arena.

I could understand him dying from bullets in Arkham Asylum and City since it looked more like his suit was made out of a leathery material. I could also understand him dying from bullets in Arkham Knight since he was up against tanks and stuff, but dying from an ordinary bullet with armor? There’s just no way
he does, in that scene you can clearly see the bullet wounds the cowl has managed to stop, and also see that Harley isn't like aiming at his mouth or smth, she's going for the forehead

I find it funny that they as developers chose to kill arkham batman that everyone loved in a game nobody wanted with microtransactions nobody wanted and then wondered why everyone hates them
Not only did they go out of their way to spite fans of the Arkham series as much as possible, they made the game in general unappealing to even the most casual of gamers with all the live service bs, and then went the extra mile to spite every other remaining demographic group, even the leftists this was meant to appeal to, with genuinely bigoted writing and unlikeable portrayals of the main characters.
And yet *THEY* are the ones who are angry at and villainizing everyone for wanting to avoid their garbage product, and nothing else.

I think King shark not noticing the explosive gel on his arm is a nice touch, considering in the beginning of the game he didn’t even feel a knife being thrust in his back. It makes more canonical sense than most of the actual scenes in the game.

This team has so many C listers the fact they could outdo Arkham Batman who fought for 24 hours straight against various A-list villains and won, is ridiculous.
The whole Suicide Squad drama gave me the urge to give the Batman Arkham games a try, all I'll say is that I underestimated Batman's abilities. This video perfectly nailed Arkham Batman's tactics, right down to the small details like the punching animation and impact sfx

There was one theory a coworker of mine told me he heard: that at some point, the justice league were all cloned in order to turn their clones against them “even the odds” so to speak, and that the clones are just inherently inferior because they’re not perfect. That’s why they’re able to easily be killed like with Batman. I dont personally believe it, but it makes more sense than what this game did

Why would we ever want to see Batman die in the first place? He would have been prepared for Brainiac regardless. Killing off batman in such a way is like forcing us to kill our parents in a video game. Nobody is going to want to do it.
How ironic that this game managed to bring back interest to the old Arkham games that there are more people playing Arkham Knight on Steam than Suicide Squad.

@@fatmanjstyle5306 To be honest this story would have been better as an Injustice game after Superman took control of everyone using Brainiacs machine. Since The League in those games were already corrupt trying to control everyone around them and killing anyone who spoke out, it would have made more sense and more impactful for The Suicide Squad to go ahead and kill The Justice League.

Even without playing the Arkham games, I KNEW his suit was bullet proof.
Hell, if you have basic knowledge on who batman is and what he does, it's pretty much understandable to assume that he would wear a bulletproof armor
It's even worse if you have played them because near the beginning of Arkham City, Two-Face shoots Batman in the head & he's unconscious for less than 40 seconds. Afterward, his mask is noticeably dented but he's otherwise fine & after waking up, he beats Twoface in one move from a position far away from where he was when he got shot. Meaning he immediately went stealth mode after waking up.

@@efneqjkn The justice league in general minus WW were done dirty in that game. The way they all get unceremoniously killed and disgraced shows you how poorly the game writers viewed them.
I'd say "well yeah, except for being shot in the head first" but to be fair I have actually seen comics and stuff where Batman's been shot by guns as strong/stronger than that, and only ended up with bruises due to his suit.

A) they made his death so anticlimactic
And B) a huge thing that Batman tends to do is break free from mind control, it was disappointing that he couldn’t do it this time

@@KCAssassin98 I'm not upset by the fact that they killed Arkham Batman, I'm upset by HOW they killed him and ruined his legacy by doing so.
They also killed Superman and the others in the most poorly thought out way possible, and there were several times where they could have destroyed the Suicide Squad in less than 1 second, the Justice League aren't the good guys anymore since they were brainwashed/corrupted or something so they shouldn't joke around instead of finishing them off already.

My current theory on why Batman allowed himself to die here (because let's be honest, he allowed himself to die), is that since he's Batman, he figured out he was on the wrong side and basically outsmarted Braniac's mind control/brainwashing thing, but couldn't take full control of himself back, so he let Waller's contingency for the Justice League take him out to leave the Batman mantle open for Dick, Damien, or whomever else decides to take it up
