How cold like 60 degrees cold
Stock height or lowered? Nice ride .
This car is as low as you can go. Front tires are scrubbing on bumps. We are going to try a little smaller tire.
Never really cared for the way that power master starter motor sounds.
If I remember right we used a Proform starter. I have had no issues with them. It's turning a high compression motor with ease so we are happy.
Super clean my friend thanks for sharing!!
Looking Good.

The 70 Camaro with the full front bumper and the turn signals underneath was and is the most beautiful Camaro ever built.
Every time we tell someone we have a 70 Camaro they all say "you have a split bumper Camaro". We have to explain that we have a full bumper car. There are so many fake split bumper cars out there. I like the real split bumpers, but I think the full bumper is a good look too.
@@mossman381 oh no brother for me it's the full bumber one piece rear spoiler.
I had a 70 Camaro back in the 90's.. It was my first car my dad gave me on my 16th birthday. Needed full restoration. Full bumber one piece rear spoiler, medium platinum metallic with satin black stripes, black interior, 350ci, turbo 350 tranny 3:83 in the rear. She was quick.
Sadly due to financial reasons I had to let her go 15 years later.
@@thewoodsman5261 Sorry you lost that car. It probably meant a lot to you. We have the smaller one piece spoiler but we like the bigger one. I think only the later 70 Camaros got the big spoiler. It wasn't available when they first come out with the new design.
@@mossman381Iit did hurt really hard. It was a one family car, I was brought home from the hospital in it when I was born in 1975.
Edit
It hurts and haunts me to this day
You ever think to try a vin search and see where the car is? I almost did that to try and find my 81 stepside I sold. Ended up doing something else. That truck wasn't near as important as what your car seems.
It’s been a very mild winter here in Illinois may have to get some of the cars and trucks out of storage early this year
It was 68 yesterday and today it was 18. Hard to tell what will happen but the temps look pretty good two weeks out.
@@mossman381 same thing here 70 yesterday then 20 today think I only plowed snow 3 times this winter
@@superdutyman9186 I plowed 3 times this year and one storm caused 2 of them.
Sounds beautiful, horsepower music to my ears.
With the x pipe it has a more modern sound to it. High compression motors all sound good.
@mossman381 my first ticket was for exhibition of speed in a SS396. Such good memories. Being in California, of course the car eventually got stolen.
@@thinkingimpaired5663 These older cars are pretty easy to steal. We actually have a distributor that is controlled with a smart phone. We can disable the distributor so it won't start no matter what you do.
@mossman381 that's definitely good to hear about the antitheft device. If I remember correctly, in the late 70s, according to my ag instructor, there was a no start problem in an FFA competition involving under the distributor cap a pencil mark connecting each plug terminal.
I love the pypes mufflers on this car. They sound really good but do they drone at all when cruising? I have flowmasters on my 70 javelin and im just not impressed by the drone or hollow tone they give off
These mufflers are loud. They are the violator mufflers from Pypes. The loudest ones you can get. They are straight through design. We don't have a lot of miles in the car. We also don't have rear seats or carpet yet. The mufflers are right under the rear seats.
this exact car with pitch black tint and a very built 572BBC is my dream car
hands down one of the most gorgeous carmaros I've ever seen by the way
The air cleaner is super tight on this stock hood with a sbc. A bbc will be really tight. Probably need a cowl hood. With the lighter sbc the car will handle much better.
