  • We were having trouble getting underneath these new trucks like the Cascadia's. So we purchased these heavy duty truck ramps to make the workplace safer and more productive.

    I gotta have a set of these ramps. I try to catch your live-streams as often as I can. Great content.

      Never once has this hurt our backs and we are not young men. Jim is 70.

      Well we just changed our plans on the trip to Vegas. We went ahead and booked a flight since we have worked a deal with more routes in Savannah. We're not driving out now, having to do it the faster way since we need to work right up until it's time to go. Sorry, we may have to make another time getting to Kansas

    That’s the type of videos I want to make versus tool “review “ videos. I’m more interested in showing people tools and equipment that they may not know about but could help them work safely on their truck. Of course no way anybody’s mailing you those ramps to review 😉. I think you gonna knock it Out of park with the shop equipment/repair videos. Do you have those hub overheated 🥵 detection bolts? You take out one hub bolt and replace it with the heat detection bolt. When the hub is overheated, the center tab pops out letting you know the brakes/hubs were hot.

    Nice video Micheal I’m shocked you don’t have a pit for serving the trucks

      They won't permit them in my county. We have the Steril Koni lift system in the other shop.

    Expensive ramps

      Did you think they would be cheap if they are strong enough to hold a tractor trailer truck? When you are dealing with expensive equipment parts are expensive also.

    Only reason I'm watching this video is because there is a guy In my city that are selling a pair for only $400 both.
    It looks like a great offer since there like 600 each but I just got in to working on my car , and I don't think I'll use them much

    I have a 16ft box truck. Will these ramps make me dock high?

    • @MichaelJones1527
      @MichaelJones1527  ปีที่แล้ว

      These ramps are designed for servicing trucks, not lifting as a ramp equalization.

    How would you compare these to the OTC 5269 ramps

    • @MichaelJones1527
      @MichaelJones1527  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know anything about OTC ramps, so I can't compare.

    How much are the ramps?

    • @MichaelJones1527
      @MichaelJones1527  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are not cheap. You need to see them in person to get the grasp of how heavy duty they are. One thing I didn't mention they are made in the US. These are not China knock offs. They are on sale at Napa for $900. There are some China knockoffs. But I'll pay a little more to get good steal and good welding.

      Think Trucking
      That’s about what the good ones cost. The cheap 3-400$ ones are narrow and lack the structure of the better made ones. The plates are very thin also and over time they separate from the poor welding. They look about the same but they are not even in the same universe.

      At 03:15 the bottom of the warning sticker says 'Made in China'. These ramps still look beastly though! Thanks for the video!
