I very much like this shorter versions of presentation! It's often difficult for me to follow for an hour it's just the time throughout busy days. Love the content, I am currently studying counselling and psychotherapy and I love learning and listening from others too. Keep on creating this fab educational content - thanks 🍀💜

Thank you for posting actionable content to help people. So many channels describe the common problems we face and then try to sell a program.

its good to know that this type of therapy does not push away sorting through issues. in my experience many therapists want to rush into the treatment but haven't heard a thing about the need for processing things.

There is a lot of stuff that comes from "poor parenting": In my case authority, abuse (both parents), in physical and emotional ways (abandonment/neglect). Long term fear and obvious lack of "attachment" (an almost foreign concept). Anger (repressed rage) has never left, so I seek to understand. These videos of your are VERY HELPFUL in this search. THANKS! How to self-validate is a "under-rated" step in "recovery from CPTSD". I believe there can be a "Sort" of recovery in terms of becoming comfortable with "the Self". An acceptance of the "damaged" self. It's not our fault! GOOD TO KNOW!.

Some people can feel the energy of others, and when that energy is extroverted delft by an introvert I know I wont be able to like it, because sometimes its not a matter of logic or reason anymore, its solely a matter of energy, of very distinct energies that go together with the natural way of being and behaving of diferent people. But in allowing the valiation of that energies we have to be able to think that we deserve to take good care of ourselves. It depends on the kind of struggle, if it makes us stronger or weakens us more, for a person with complex ptsd, the hardshiops of life dont make you stronger, they make you weaker because these people did not have a safe attachtment to their parents.

The only validation I've ever got is people telling me what a pos I am and being abandoned. I know people will call me a Debbie downer and say i have irrational beliefs but I don't. I believe this because of of my experiences. Just like if everyone you see punches you in the face you'll start to expect that from everyone. You need to get to the root and figure out why everyone is punching you. And that's what I'm trying to figure out is what I'm doing wrong. Because it's my fault because I get the same reaction from everyone. I feel like I have a fatal flaw

No. Its never your fault, trust me bro. This is bad and this usually comes from the belief that “i am bad” or “i am unacceptable. Nothing is your fault and me too has to grow out of this belief. You’re okay how you are, the way someone reacts has nothing to do with you but what you need is boundaries and to surround yourself with people who like you for you. Read heal your emotional self by beverely engel. Im sure you can get phenomenal healing from there
