Welcome to Ronda, Spain, a charming town in Southern Spain with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the huge El Tajo Gorge! Let me know what you think of Ronda down below! 👇🇪🇦
When i first visited Ronda, i walked out on to the balcony with amazing views, there was noone around except a lady playing the harp. The views and the music, made it feel like i had just stepped into heaven. I have visited a ton of times now and it never gets boring, The views are amazing
Thank you for your wonderful videos!!!! They are just the oerfect combination of infos, sights and nature and you describe enough, but not too much❣️Just perfect🤩
just got back. What a city. I liked northern ing Spain the best. However, Ronda and Setenil de las bodegas were priceless. Expect a good amount of tourists in Ronda in the busy months. Oh, driving in Ronda is rough! The streets are so narrow and there's barely any parking.
Excellent stuff Matt after such a long wait I travel to Spain and aim to visit Ronda, Toledo, Seville and base myself in Granada, love your enthusiasm for historic cities and coffee shops! Thanks☕️🏰🏴😊
So happy to view this! I was just in Ronda and really liked the area. But unfortunately, it was very rainy and not as pleasant as in the video. I hope I can return soon and travel all over the Malaga province. Thanks. This is delightful as is the video on Malaga!
Thanks for the entertaining well worth seeing video! Would you say three days is too much time to see Ronda? You did it in a day!. Many thanks. I’m subscribing now!
If you want to take it slow and relax, you can spend 3 days in Ronda but i wouldn't say there are 3 days worth of activities. There are some day trips that I've heard are nice from Ronda though
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
@@MattKramerTravels thank you soo much ! 😁🙌❤️ I have watched all of your videos for the cities i'm going to be visiting. They were amazing ! 😁 thank you again ! 😁
I’m going to Malaga in 2 weeks, and I heard some good things about Ronda, but I wasn’t sure if it was worth it because I’m only in Spain for 4 days! Thanks to your video I definitely make time to go visit this beautiful place! Subscribed 🙏🏼
Ronda looks beautiful. Can't wait to see it in May! I wonder how long it would have taken to hike all the way down the gorge? I bet the way back up was tough.
I spent a week in Ronda in the first week of September. I came for the bullfight. This video captures everything I did except go up in the Santa Maria church tower. Matt gets it exactly right. Love this town, its restaurants and shops and buildings and of course the new bridge. I stayed at the Hotel Don Miguel, right on the new bridge. This is family owned and has rooms with a small balcony that looks out on the new bridge day and night- worth the price of the room by far. They have a nice restaurant and bar on the lower balcony area of the hotel overlooking the bridge as well.
Nice video. Did you take the train from Malaga or Torremolinos to go to Ronda. What is the best way to spend one whole day there if you have no car. Thank you.
Thanks Patrick! I took the train from Malaga and also did not have a car. The city is super close to the train station and everything is very walkable, including the little hikes and the new and old town.
I took the train from Malaga city center to Ronda. There might be a bus from the airport though if you don’t want to go to the city first, but I’m not 100% sure. Enjoy your trip!

If you want to visit Ronda, go early in the morning or sleep there. The city is full of day trippers and in some places you need to wait to get a decent picture.
Matt! I guess you like to see yourself when editing the video... But you could enjoy the images more if you weren't standing in the middle! Just listening to your voice is fine! Greetings.
@sanjosemike3137 Jews should reconsider going to Spain. There have been demonstrations against Jews (and Israel) in Spain. One of their legislators accused Israel of genocide. I don't know how safe Jews will be in Spain. Perhaps they should stay away. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)

awesome
Does it help to take a guided tour or one can easily do it on one's own walking around? Your vlog is super informative.
Ronda looks beautiful. Can't wait to see it in May! I wonder how long it would have taken to hike all the way down the gorge? I bet the way back up was tough.
Great video! Which month it was? Is november good time to go?😊
You should add information pertaining to your means transportation in getting to these beautiful places and the cost.
Which hotel did you get in to get that spectacular view of the arena? Love it. Keep up the good work 👍🙂
Thanks Rita! I can't recall the name unfortunately but if you ask around, I think you can find a nice rooftop as its a small town!

I have seen in your video that you visited Ronda from Malaga by train.
Could you share the timetable with me for the train between Malaga and Ronda?
And if you have any experience about the Caminito Del Rey from Malaga by public transport I would be also grateful for that.
I used the Renfe train, you should be able to see the times online. Unfortunately, I haven't been to the Caminito Del Rey. Enjoy your trip!
