Such a beautiful place that Bodegas. Been around the western cities of Spain and loved it . .. but these remote places are amazing.

Andalusia is just outrageously beautiful. Was there back in August for 2 weeks (visited Seville 😍🥰, Granada, Cordoba, Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar, Vejer de la Frontera, Jerez de la Frontera, Ubeda and Baeza). God I miss it so so much 😢

I plan on spending the next winter in southern Spain, with my motorcycle... And a tent. On paper, it looks like it's perfectly doable if not actually easy...
Hm I remember in the morning it was cold! Both wearing a winter jacket. But, with a good sleeping bag it should be fine! Seems like a great trip to this area with a motorcycle!!

I've been camping in Normandy (so, northern France) since early April... I've had nights at 3-4°C and although it was not the most comfortable, I survived, I'm used to it...
And yes it should be a great trip... I tried to do it during the winter 20-21 but couldn't... This time, I'm going !

Hi, in terms of car which type of car would be best to rent? I hear there are narrow roads in the countryside so SUV might be challenging
SUV is not really common I guess. A hatchback would be perfect

Sierra means "mountain range". As "Sahara" means desert, I would think that "Zahara" is just a dialect variant of that and also means desert. Maybe I am wrong.

Not really , Zahara means Flowery in Arabic , it is a nickname of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) daughter, Fatima.
Many places and words came from Arabic like Sahara (desert) and more ☺

You can’t eat the oranges off the trees. The orange trees were a gift from the Moors because the city had a stench. Those oranges suck in foul smells.
