@@mountainmoto1653 It eventually becomes a private road and there's a whole community up there, but there's a trailhead up there and the ride up to that point is worthwhile. Haven't been back since the fire yet.
@@csn583 I think there was an article recently about whether or not they were going to allow rebuilding in that area. Something about the ability for a firetruck to turn around (or lack there of) on that road..
This is one perimeter road that can take you to Neil Young's Broken Arrow ranch. However, as you found out it is gated. There is another access road however.
@@mountainmoto1653 Yes, that's the one... I am able to get thru the first one... there is another one after that... I plan on scouting some more... and yes, it is absolutely beautiful, and I'd like to make it to the coast via this route.
I just road up Whitehouse Canyon Road. It’s a bit trashed after the fire. But it’s a bit of dirt in the SC mountains that’s pretty fun.
I've seen that one on the map but haven't been there yet. I'll have to check it out.

@@SergeDelishis must be Bear Gulch Road? I think I remember running into a gate there too. Is there much to see in there?
