This is absolutely the most stunning fishroom on youtube. Based purely on the tanks, the health of the fish within the tanks, and the variety of stocking. You're the best man!!! As for DIY setups, my absolute dream (once I own a home) is to build my own 2'x2' tank that takes up an entire wall, like 12-16ft long. Your diy tanks are an inspiration for that. Stocking would be typical tetras and community fish, but just with enough space to really watch them school like in the wild. Here's hoping I can get it done in like 10 years lol.
There all so beautiful in there own way. And i believe from what I've seen in videos this has to be one of or the best fish rooms out there just outstanding. Thanks for sharing
Nice job I've resealed used tanks and bought new ones like my newest 215 gallons over 30 years. One of my first was it's acrylic aquarium by clarity Plus
Wonderful fish room just exquisite. In fact one of the nicest, cleanest rooms I’ve seen. The Madagascar "marinish fish 😜" are incredible. Thanks for sharing, great content Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
The more I look at your fish, the more I fall in love with them. I'd like to discuss with you on building my next 6' saltwater aquarium with overflow and matching sump!
Mine have taken a few years to grow to this point. I got them from a hobbyist seller on eBay. They've grown the best when I leave them undisturbed for a long time.
Thanks! I use a mix of pool filter sand and play sand. Different stores usually have different shades of sand colors, which can mix together to look more natural.
I buy from a vendor local to me. But if you search 'plastic' or 'acrylic wholesale near me', you'll likely find a few options. Any mid-size city will have options.
Hello a new viewer. Do you consider doing a saltwater aquarium in the future? You are very skillful and it will be awesome to see how you go about building it.

was there not a 900 gallon coming , sorry if i dont remember that the plans were
You're correct! However changes in my life required me to put that project on hold. I still have the glass for it in my garage. :)
I was wondering the same thing, but I didn't remember the exact size he was discussing.
I wish I had the room to keep even a single one of those Madagascar cichlids...
They are true stunners and only improve with age and size I think
Couldn't agree more! And thanks for watching. :)
Those tanks are beautiful. Not everyone can DIY aquariums.
This is awesome.
Nice!
Great video and well spoken! NEW SUBSCRIBER.
Thanks for subscribing! I appreciate the kind words.
Do you use RO water for water change. How do you keep your white stones cleaned.
I use tap water, which is pretty hard where I live. For algae control I keep bristlenose plecos and lights on for short periods.
Awesome awesome tanks man, do you have a tutorial of your 650 plywood aquarium make?
Unfortunately I built most of my tanks before I started making videos. I did cover the waterproofing and glass install steps for the 200g cube tank.
Do you have any tip on liquid rubber plywood aquarium? On fixing the glass panel, since silicone doesnt bond well on liquid rubber
Sorry, I've never worked with liquid rubber so have no advice to share. Best wishes on the project.
Use the front and back panels of the aquarium to build two more 600 gallons.
Ha. Now THAT'S an idea!
How do you get those mangroves to grow so well.? I always get red mangroves from Petco but I can never get them to do well…
Mine have taken a few years to grow to this point. I got them from a hobbyist seller on eBay. They've grown the best when I leave them undisturbed for a long time.
I love your tanks. What sand do you use?
Thanks! I use a mix of pool filter sand and play sand. Different stores usually have different shades of sand colors, which can mix together to look more natural.
Is it possible to build a plywood aquarium with an acrylic viewing window? I've only seen people do glass viewing windows in plywood aquariums.
Yes it is possible, but glass is usually easier because silicone sticks very well to many of the wood-waterproofing methods out there.
ever heard of spanner barbs ? i feel they would be a great fit in the new 300 gallon tank
I'll check them out!
@@Riffwaters whats a dream odd ball fish you wish to have in your fishroom ?

Thanks! I'd like to keep saltwater at some point, but there's a lot of freshwater setups I want to try first. Appreciate you watching!
@@Riffwaters Well l definitely cannot wait to see that. I am going to subscribe to be notified
whats the difference between Madagascar and malagasy
It's just a linguistic technicality. Anything native to Madagascar is supposed to be called Malagasy. But many people use the terms interchangeably.
See some build a stand vids. You say you build these tanks? Wheres the vids.
Love it. Video is not right for me. It's jumping..maybe my phone
Thanks! But sorry to hear it's jumping for you.
Definitely your phone.
