Hey guy's, I know I have already posted but something big just dropped in my TH-cam feed. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was just announced! It can be another great addition to the cart changer.
What a great idea! Being able to switch through physical games like they were digital is awesome. The only downside I can see is it doesn’t really suit the portable aspect. But if you have a family of 3-4 and each person is playing a different game on the tv, this is ideal. Thanks for the video Rob!
That’s pretty cool. I can see where it would be super useful for people who have their faves in the switcher and they don’t have to keep messing with the in & out of the cart slot.

That’s actually really cool! I always hated the way. The cartridges go into the Nintendo switch mainly because of the cover, but this will definitely help. 🤘🏻🦅🇺🇸🤘🏻
Really awesome unit! I do it the lame way and wait for the games to be on sale and buy them again, the original card becomes a backup lol. Personally I fully turn the Switch off, (hold power button for a few secs and see on-screen options). Thankfully Switch is like 3DS booting up from a cold start and doesn't take long. I'll only use sleep mode to change controllers if I've been using a Pro and want to change to a 3rd party one, saves having any issues. Really cool device and worth the money! Thanks for sharing! 👍

I hope you've been enjoying the Switch anyway! plus there is no guarantee the next Nintendo console will be backwards compatible! Nintendo doesn't have the best track record with that really! Though we will see with whatever they bring out next I guess 🙂. I've had the Switch since it launched and I have gone through so many phases of owning one, getting anxious and bored then trading it, only to buy it again like 6 months later haha! I finally stuck with it and have been playing many games on it happily since the original OLED came out, but when the TotK one came out I just had to have that one haha 😊, luckily I got a good trade deal for it at EB Games for my original OLED ❤
That's pretty wild....I want a disc changer for our Series X and PS5 as well! Physical media is the only way. Addendum- 50 bucks is right at the impulse buy range and is perfect for this sort of thing. Wait...did you say Switch multi-carts? What?! Like legitimate multi-carts or are we talking the high seas way?
@@retrobeliever You know what...I'm an idiot and actually knew that. It's been one of those days my friend. How do you play your games with the device plugged into your Switch? It looks well...bulky for lack of a better word. Can it attach to the back of the Switch like our secondary battery for our Steam Deck? So many questions...I plan to buy one likely this Friday or next.
@@Sinn0100 you can see in the video, it just slides right onto the top, not bulky at all! Doesn’t block the fan or anything. It has a cable with a “Switch Cart” at the end that goes into the game slot. Then you just put in the 8 carts you want. The remote clicker is nice if you’re a lazy couch dude like me.

That's a pretty cool device, it's just a shame the clicker doesn't let you select the specific cartridge slot you want, like channels on a TV remote
