Seibu Chichibu-Ikebukuro Line driver's view from Hannō to Seibu-Chichibu in Japan

The Seibu Chichibu Line is a railway line in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, operated by Seibu Railway. It is an extension of the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, and connects Agano Station.
The Seibu Ikebukuro Line opened from Ikebukuro Station to Hanno Station in 1915, and was extended from Hanno Station to Agano Station in 1929. Furthermore, in 1969, the Seibu Chichibu Line was opened from Agano Station to Seibu Chichibu Station.
Freight trains carrying cement were operated on this route until 1996, but now local trains run between Hanno Station and Seibu-Chichibu Station, and limited express trains run between Ikebukuro Station and Seibu-Chichibu Station.
Seibu Chichibu Station is connected to the Chichibu Railway, and direct trains are also available. Freight trains still operate on the Chichibu Railway to transport limestone to cement factories. Check out this video's bonus track.
