Same, until I learned that in his second phase, all you have to do is stand still, jump, and perry. If you chase him he goes crazy, if you stand still he's more tame.
The stand still in the 2nd phase saved me. I was really struggling. Read your comment and then I beat him 2nd attempt of standing still in the 2nd phase.
@@mahdikhayyami1871 yep i had trouble with her too. basically i have trouble with enemy bosses that moves around a lot.... you cant find a way to keep them in one place for a good volley of attacks.
OK, this guy is really hard until you learn the method. It is somewhat difficult to explain, but I'll try and explain it here. I would suggest not doing what the video shows. He'll pretty much super punch you to death every time even after you learn to zoom around as fast as he does. First faze is fairly easy. Just zoom around and hit him. Second faze is actually easy once you know how. Get to one side. Jump over his arcing red projectile hit and his arrow-like red projectile. Then parry his yellow arrows. The first one should be the only one you need to deal with the other will miss every time. Next, he'll do the horizontal red strike. Let it go over your head. He will then charge after you. Right after the red projectile hit goes over your head jump so he charges right under you and then turn and hit him a few times. Keep repeating the process till he's dead. You'll only get two hits each time, but you'll slowly widle him down to nothing.
I wouldn't say it gets good. Once you realize how to fight him, it's kind of boring. If you go zipping around as fast as him, he just super punches you to death. Once you do a more passive fight technique, it works but it's kind of boring.
Worst boss in the game he’s literally exploiting your patience and it’s not hard at all he’s just very poorly designed really made me dislike the last half of the game.

It is not hard it is just badly designed. Keeps teleporting around... reminds me of elden beast. Sorry elden ring to compare you with this game. This game took most of the bad things from other games and mixed them together.
This is one of the most underrated games of the last few years. But here are you all crying over a bad boss design and the difficult of puzzles, is not a hard game is not meant to be difficult. Stop comparing everything you see with souls saga and just admit is not for you. If something is not for you doesn't mean it's bad.
It's incredibly frustrating how he just constantly moves around so you can't touch him. All the boss fights after this seem really simple.

Void Blade Amulet is very useful in this fight.
This was the most fun boss fight to me. Once you figure out the timing of Menolias’s moves, it gets good.

are you parrying him or how are you getting his attacks back against him? I've tried the parry move and it just doesn't work for me...

Design is great, one of the ways to defeat him is to use teleports too, and there are many others.
