The key to this fight is juggling him in the air when you get to him. He is VERY HARD to hit and extremely quick. Juggling him gets a lot of damage quick and builds up Athra meter.
@@cpu1639 I ended up going back to the map and upgrading my character more, adding more life, new amulets, new moves, upgraded swords…. And was able to do it…..much easier!
Yeah this game is really hardcore. But that's good because rather than being completely bullshit, I lookup guides for hard fights and all they say is "keep doing what you're doing but better" lol
If you can stun him with the A power and get him up against the wall you can just hold down and spam attack and it will trap him in a loop until he does the exploding thing.
This was definitely one of those boss fights I had to play a few times to get his moves down. Teleporting and also key parrying was key to me defeating him. Also, it's one of the few bosses where equipping the 5 shot arrow amulet can really help.
Yesterday was my fight with this boss....first i attacked far and second with the first anthra attack when menolias make the first combo (after boomerang) behind him and of course you must have the dragon king amulet, and to buy things in relation with potions to have the maximum capacity, and you must avoid the first and the second combo, and juggling him in the air when you get to him. is a very hard boss but nice to fight, this game is really good.
Crazy how we all have different difficulty experiences with this game. In my case Orod was the boss that gave me the most trouble. The second hardest boss for me probably took me about 3 tries max. Also, f*** multi phase/multi healthbar bosses.
Boss fights in this game is EPIC! I mean you die... a lot, but you just can't wait to do it all again, again and again. fucking awesome. It's like Ori and Hollow Knight got a baby
Got a massive bug on the switch. I was invisible the whole fight. He couldnt make any damage on me. I had to kill him this way because i never saved the game because of the standby function of the switch. Really annoying.

Easily one of the most difficult boss battles I’ve ever done, my brain isn’t able to think as fast as this boss/ game demands

Ok, just got to this fight last week. I do well until he opens up the Eighth gate .
