    Thank you so much for all your helpful videos. I've never had a bad experience following your recipes instead I always get lovely compliments. I remember reaching out to you regarding your job in 2012/2013, your response was very detailed and helpful. Even though someone maliciously closed down the email and I couldn't follow that path you mentioned, I am always very happy anytime I remember how you responded to a stranger. Many thanks Aunty Flo:)

      Biko stop "thinking" and make this coconut cake this weekend. ;) I love it because the preparation is so quick and easy, no extended creaming like in the Nigerian dense cakes. And the bonus is that your kitchen smells lovely while it is baking.

    Thank You Very Much Ma'am,
    Your videos have been very helpful.
    Please i want to ask if You can use the same steps used to make this coconut cake to make another type of cake, for instance, the typical nigerian cake?
    Thank You once again

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Meizon you can use this for sponge cakes but for the dense Nigerian cake you need to cream the butter and sugar. Watch the videos at:

    Auntie Flo, I tried buying your book from Konga online and I saw a different name on the book, clicking on the link from Konga shows a different one earlier advertized.how can I get the original version

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gifty sorry about that. Please use this link to go to Konga: goo.gl/jGCTiB Try and place your order soon because to be honest, I do not know the kind of ojoro that Konga is playing with my cookbook on their platform. It keeps redirecting to that other book thereby causing confusion. I am still investigating what is happening over there.
      Like I wrote, please order soon before they decide to start the re-directions again. Thank you. :)

      Yes, but you need to keep it in the fridge. The manipulation may make it smell funny by the next day if you do not put it in the fridge especially if you live in a hot and humid location.

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need salt for the overall taste of the cake. So even if you use unsalted butter, you still need to add salt unless the person does not eat salt at all. In that case use unsalted.

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ben the cup I used is the standard measurement cup. They are sold in sets at the super market or bakery shops.
      For the conversion, I use Google to convert so I search "1 cup of coconut flour in grams" and I got 128g then divide that by 2 you get 64g for this recipe.
      For the all purpose flour, I search "1 cup of all purpose flour in grams" I get 142g
      1/2 cup of coconut milk is 120mls
