So I do take SCUBA tank and go for 2 stages DECO swim, 1st stage from -16m deep, 2nd around 5m deep. Yes there pockets from divers which means he is breathing low oxygen exhaled gasses from other people between bouts of holding his breath....very risky daft actually

Can you imagine before tanks when the Indians dived that land how crazy it must have been from air pocket to air pocket not knowing. If you map out a lot of US lakes and spend the time you wouldnt believe how far you can travel underwater if you just know where to breath :). Good vid flippers up and carry on the good work.

Back in the early 90s my dad had to do CPR on a guy that was going down and breathing air from the pockets. I think he came up and back down several times. I believe he got the bends coming up to fast.
I breathed what was in that box last weekend and the air has turned to ammonia and nitrogen. I came up to the top felt my lungs explode and lost all body control. Had to be helped on the dock. Paramedics came in minutes. Back in 2017 it was probably good air but not anymore. Dont do it anymore guys.
Breathing air underwater and hold your breath during ascend is the most dangerous and dumbest thing you can do on a dive and can results in severe injuries and death!. To be honest, you are very lucky (5 meters is enough to burst a lung and cause a death and this box is at -7 meters!) N°1 rule for scuba diving: don't hold your breath!
This is very dangerous. You should put a disclaimer for other people to not do this. Dying alone underwater is a horrible way to go. Best of luck to you

The least you could’ve done is taken a scuba tank with you in case the air in one of the pockets turned out to be bad. This was hazardous behavior on so many levels! At least you didn’t go past the sign. I’m glad you survived this but, please include a contingency plan in the future. Scuba tank, Spare Air, a scuba diving buddy or something!

AirBox in a shallow water -7m deep made out of aluminum. I do not know how they put it down. I may ask them during next time. Thnx for coment

Makes sense. Those air pockets are pressurized. Lots bad can happen breathing pressurized gas at depth.
