I will never get tired of watching people hear Dirty Loops for the first time! They are the 3 baddest musicians on the planet. Check out "Work Sh*t Out" "Rock You" and "Run Away"

This is a great intro to Jonah's vocals (he also arranged and sang the chorus backup). Work Shit Out will give you a sense of Jonah's skill on the keys, and will intro you to Aron's serious, serious chops on the drums. Follow the Lights is simply a favorite - it's a collab with Cory Wong, has lots of incredible horns - and features some jaw-dropping bass playing by Henrik. And then the new one, Run Away, that's like nothing else they've done and offers intense exposure to Henrik's virtuoso bass. All of them are top notch musicians. Take time to look at the credits - a lot of humor in there.

Welcome to the world of Dirty Loops and their fans :)
Yes, their level of playing is genuinely mindblowing, one regularly runs out of superlatives to describe them and the way they makes us feel…
Their music is on the whole easy to appreciate by musicians and also those simply enjoying music, it’s so catchy. Their grooves are legendary. Henrik (bass, who btw also is legendary) describes this one in an interview as that type of ‘Bootsy Funk, where you have a strong beat on the One to make all the other subdivisions work’. Man, does he make subdivisions work…!
These three guys hail from Sweden. They all have various musical backgrounds from home, have known each other since school, studied at a prestigious music conservatory in Stockholm together (from jazz to rock to Music Production), played variously as session musicians already during their Con days, and have formed this trio in about 2008 to play and write the music they truly love.
They started out doing covers of leading pop stars such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, B. Spears, Timberlake, etc., later on writing their own pieces. These covers alone are completely mindblowing, and often don’t leave much of the original, after they’re done ‘loopifying’ it 😉
Jonah (vocals and keys) grew up in Sweden with both parents conducting church choirs and was taken to rehearsals and concerts early on. He practically started singing from Day One :D
Here in this song he does ALL of the vocals, contrary to what you see in the music video, including all of the backing vocals. He tried hard to make them all sound differently, as to give the impression of a multitude of singers being involved here.
Also his vocals in the credits, they’re to die for 🫶
Sometimes I crank up the volume and just listen to the credits 100 x in a row 😉
He’s been described by Quincy Jones, on who’s management board they sat at the time, as “…. having that perfect balance between right side brain musical knowledge, and left side creativity. Music is in his blood. He’s got soul, and one of the biggest ranges I’ve ever heard.” Some of his biggest musical influences when growing up, were Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, -although I feel it doesn’t do him justice to try and fit him into these two boxes-.
He’s said to have an enormous vocal ‘belting’ range, without going into falsetto. His riffs are legendary, and many have tried to copy them. Meanwhile, he sees music as a vehicle for emotions, including his phenomenal keys and piano playing. His classical piano roots (he switched from classical piano studies to jazz piano only later on) are undeniable.
Aron, the drummer, is also a complete musical beast. Not only is his drum playing 🔥, but he also co-writes many of their tunes, including some vocal choruses, bass lines and even lyrics. They work in pairs usually, writing tracks and adding them, before passing them on to the other(s), to add their parts.
Aron and Henrik spent a lot of time together, holed up in practice rooms at the con, after hours, to practise pocket and locking in with each other.
I think one can tell; they’re the closest drums and bass team.
Henrik’s devised a unique slapping technique, and also has spend a fair bit of time practising subdivisions. I love his triplet/sextuplet/ what-not-other crazy subdivisions!
Check out any of their songs, and you’ll be blown away. But “Work Shit Out” features an extended keyboard solo from Jonah, as well as one hell of a drum solo by Aron!
Thanks for bringing your ears and heart to this amazing band! 🙏

Welcome to the Dirty Loops rabbit hole; enjoy your stay. I’d submit you should check out Dirty Loops collab with the Cory Wong band: “Thriller” or “Turbo”.
    Some other artists to consider:
Jacob Collier - Consider “The Flintstones Theme”, “Bridge Over Troubled Water” or “Moon River”, his magnum opus
Jamie Cullum - “Twentysomething” or “Don’t Stop the Music”
Snarky Puppy. - “Quartermaster” or “Lingus”

Great reaction, I appreciate your style where you don't talk too much over the song or constantly stop it. You seem to really listen. As others have said, I will never get tired of re-experiencing the first time I ever heard Dirty Loops through another music-lover's eyes and ears :-) I sure hope you do more. If you do, I will be here to enjoy your ride! A few song/video suggestions:
    Hit Me
    Run Away
Follow The Light (with Cory Wong)
    Work Shit Out
    Wake Me Up (cover)
Over the Horizon (their take on the Galaxy phone ring tone)
    Breakdown
Thriller (MJ cover, with Cory Wong)
...also Jonah Nillson's (singer/keys player) solo stuff:
    Coffee Break (feat. Richard Bona)
    Diamond Ring (feat. Steve Vai)
    Bad (MJ cover)
ALSO, for another artist reaction - may I suggest Jacob Collier? He's a musical genius, has been described as the "Gen Z Mozart." Early on he got discovered on youtube with his one-man-show videos where he played all instruments and sang all harmonies. Go on his youtube page and pick from these:
Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing (Stevie wonder cover - this video put him on the map)
All Night Long (feat. Take 6 - Lionel Richie cover)
    Little Blue (Mahogany Sessions)
    Moon River (cover)
    Flintstones theme
    Hideaway
Here Comes The Sun (Beatles cover)
Fix You (Coldplay cover, live from There with Care)
    >>>>and so many more!

Thank you, I appreciate your support.😄 I agree with you, talking too much and constant pausing can be distracting to the viewer as it can create too much disruption in capturing the true essence of the singer/band members and of course the music composition itself. (just my opinion). Thank you for your reaction suggestions of Dirty Loops as well as Jacob Collier. I will definitely place those on top of the list of reaction requests. 👍 Dirty Loops are FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

"Drum roll?" Nope, didn't happen. ""Tempo change?" Nope, not that either. Just a helpful suggestion - you may want to look up the definitions of musical terms before you use them in front of an audience of musicians. It's a total bust, I hope you don't think I'm a jerk, but appreciate a little help as you're starting to build your music reaction career base. You have good taste in appreciating Dirty Loops, which is a fine start. Good luck with your channel.
