That bass ain't no Fender, they are called Mattisson Basses and are handcrafted by Anders Mattisson himself in Sweden. I happen to know his daughter, so I've actually had the honor to try one out myself and I can sure tell you that it was amazing. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive, so I'll probably never have the chance to own my own though.

These guys met at a music school in Stockholm, Sweden. Jonah (vocals, keys) were studying classical direction while Aron (drums) and Henrik (bass) were studying jazz/improvisation. They began rearranging contemporary and songs from the '80s and uploaded it to TH-cam. Needless to say it went super viral and more or less everyone in the music biz sang their praises!! Eventually David Foster took them under his wings as his like protégés now they belong to Quincy Jones productions!! Im right there with you on the bass player. I started playing bass at 11( I'm 60 now ). This guy makes me want to break out my Ibanez 6 string and my Hohner 5 headless and start relearning my playing all over again. Loved the reaction.
