Hello,I watched the video but didn't see the harness removal done. First video he quit while having trouble unhooking the harness and the second it was done. How do the harnessed come off? Thanks
Did it work after it came back from Alpine? I have the same issue on the ‘05 Acura RL.... but I just bought it, so I don’t know how long it hasn’t been working.
Not sure if you’ll know if it’s possible, but with the pin outs in the rear, would it be possible to add a video input for either a rear camera or other inputs? (I’ve seen a TSX mod with similar pins on their DVD/Nav units)
Thanks for making this video. I remember reading about how cheap the repair used to be years ago ($150)Thinking bout doing this too. I have an 07 TL Type-S and my DVD Navi unit went out about 3 years ago. Seems to be a common issue. Do you have any idea of it will just be a recurring problem in the long run or is there a defect that gets corrected by Alpine?
Hey Mr. Honda Mods need you inputs on issue i am facing with my Nav, MP3 and AC controls in my 2005 RL.,.,.,., i shipped my car recently and it was fine before shipping .,.,., but when i received the Nav, MP3 player, AC controls stopped working.,.,., i checked the DVD player in the Boot no signs of lights and tried to remove DVD but no luck.,.,.,. i packed the boot full of my personal stuff, do you think that affected? or is it a fues problem? need you suggestions on how to move forward from here.
