Here is the recipe. 2 Cups flour. 1 Cup of Milk Buttermilk or Water. 2 Eggs yolks broken and thouroughly mixed. A dash of vegetable oil. 1/2 to 1 cup of pulverized Pork skins (plain) may be omitted if desired. Pre heat oven to 400 .F. Combine all ingredients in sauce pan and mix thoroughly. Add small amounts of water untill a cake batter consistency is achieved. Grease skillet. With vegetable oil No.8 size skillet is recommended. Pour batter into greased skillet. Bake for 32 to 34 minutes remove (caution pan will be very hot) Allow to cool. Slice. Enjoy.

Wow. My mom is supposed to teach me how to make biscuit bread tomorrow! She eats corn bread like nobody else I've ever seen. It'll be interesting to see her version of biscuit bread compared to yours. RockOn.StayFree.

I think that Americana chickens lay colored eggs. that's a good idea using pork rinds, my mom and grandma made cracklins and you are right they can be very hard and unless you have good teeth it's not pleasant to bite into some of them.
We have 30 plus chickens and we get get breen,blus ,brown, tan ,and traditional white. I have no clue which one lays which. But the all taste like eggs.

This reminds me of the bread my nanny used to make on top of the stove in a cast iron flat skillet. 😊 We called it dog bread, and it sure was good!❤

I made some like that last night. Was going to make cornbread but we runout of corn meal still just as good as cornbread
